I really hate myself for getting so excited after seeing Third Eye Blind on there hah. Gotta say though, according to the schedule, Friday looks the best

May or may not try for Friday-Sunday. Definitely trying to go Sunday if that's when LCD plays. My dad wants to go Friday and Saturday (and frankly those two days aren't too bad).
EDIT: So the plan as of now is that me and my dad both go Friday and Saturday and I'd go by myself Sunday. Which will be interesting. I've been by myself for the majority of both '14 and '15 so it should be no big deal.
The Reddit schedule is definitely fake. It has Halsey coming back which I could see, but it also has G-Eazy playing again and he closed out the Grove last year. It also has Savages who are at P4K. Though I don't know how early they have their schedules made I would assume with how they release it later they would not have made it yet. It also looks like it's something someone made on clash finder
Eh, guy from another board who is usually pretty infallible with this stuff said next week, so I went with it. Same guy who tipped as to when Radiohead would announce shows, among other things. It happens.
He said that the 29th was the date he's seen on the band contract he saw. The bands were being told to hold off on announcing anything until the 29th but I would assume that would just be the latest date they would have revealed the lineup.

Not stellar. Far from it in fact. But I'm really only paying to see Radiohead, so anything else on that day is just gravy, I suppose. Probably try to catch Con Brio early and then just camp until they start
Without diving into the bands/artists I don't know yet, I have a full weekend. I do like it, just set myself up for disappointment. Beirut, Mac DeMarco, The Internet, Schoolboy Q, and Porter Robinson all being on that draft schedule and then not being on the lineup kinda sucks because they'd all be welcome additions in my book. Really surprised they missed on Sia as well. James Blake seemed like another obvious get.
Thursday: Lana Del Rey, The 1975, The Last Shadow Puppets, Daughter, Danny Brown, Yeasayer, Towkio, Hiatus Kaiyote, Arkells
Friday: Radiohead, M83, Miike Snow, Foals, Ghost, Frightened Rabbit, A$AP Ferg, Alessia Cara, M0, Frank Turner, The Struts, Wolf Alice, Saint Motel, Modern Baseball, Lewis Del Mar
Saturday: Chili Peppers?, Janes, Two Door Cinema Club, Chris Stapleton, Grimes, Leon Bridges, Big Grams, Vic Mensa, Mutemath, St. Lucia, The Joy Formidable, Chairlift, Jack Garratt, The Strumbellas, Nothing But Thieves, Nothing
Sunday: LCD, Flume, HAIM, Die Antwoord, Silversun Pickups, Vince Staples, Lindsey Stirling, Third Eye Blind, FIDLAR, Panama Wedding, Banners
If the draft schedule turns out correct, I'll probably end up seeing Vic Mensa close the Grove on Saturday.
Sunday is really, really horrendous. The other days are decent enough for me. I've accepted that I basically go to this fest out of tradition at this point.
I feel this way about most lineups this year. Everyone is acting like they're all terrible and I like pretty much all of them. There isn't much variety and most of them don't have anything rare. Individually they all have plenty of bands that I want to see and I'd be happy to go.

Lol at J. Cole headlining the South field on Thursday. I am obviously no longer with the times. I personally think Thursday is a bit of a dog, but there is enough on the rest of the days to make me happy.

People just like to bitch and complain. It's just as good anything else in the country this year. If you want to go to a festival and you're near Chicago......Lollapalooza is what's up
The problem I have with this lineup is that Saturday is too stacked. There are so many acts I want to see on Saturday alone that there's really nothing for me the rest of the weekend beyond Radiohead and LCD. If it were a bit more spread out I'd be much happier.
