Thur: show up when I want, leave when I want. If I do Radiohead at MSG Tuesday or Wednesday, I might just skip this whole day to drive home and sleep. Not a single must see for me. Fri: HAELOS - melt in the sun - Skepta - wait for Foals - melt in the sun - M83 - melt in the sunset - Radiohead Sat: Chairlift/Baio - melt in the sun - Leon Bridges - Chris Stapleton - TDCC or Jane's Addiction (or nap) - Grimes - Bounce around to whatever other people are doing/leave early Sun: Fidlar - Third Eye Blind?? - Local Natives - Silversun Pickups or nap?? - Flume or Haim or nap?? - Vince Staples - LCD Soundsystem
Damn.. there are no conflicts but giant gaps in the schedule which usually leads to me just not showing up for what I wanted to see early and just coming in for the late afternoon. I really might sell my 4 day and just go Friday and Sunday. Thursday is a disaster and Saturday has 0 must sees for me.
What is wrong it you that you don't like Thursday? It's the only undercard day that's any good. Now, good enough to take an extra day off work for? Don't know about that.

This schedule is hot garbage, btw. Constant traipsing back and forth across Grant Park, giant gaps of nothing decent, the Grove lineup is butt, all the good acts are at noon. What the actual fuck.
Haelos - melt in the sun with billybaroo - Skepta - melt in the sun without billybaroo - Rufus Du Sol - Frightened Rabbit - M83 - Radiohead
Overall not too bad, but the schedule as a whole leaves sooo many gaps where you'll just be dying a slow death. Hoping that heading over from Frightened Rabbit will still get us pretty close for Radiohead.

It's not a problem for me until Sunday where I could literally do nothing but wander around aimlessly until Flume>LCD.

Tough to make a good schedule out of that lineup, though. Aside from Thursday, the undercards are pretty barren. Can't spin straw into gold, and all that.
Well the issue is its one mile from the Bud Light Stage to the Samsung Stage. So even though Thursday is decent, you're going to be walking from one end of the park to the other between literally every set.
After looking at the schedule, the only acts I'm really hoping have an after show are RUFUS DU SOL and Jack Garratt. Grimes would be okay too, in addition to my hopes of Todd Terje and a James Murphy DJ set.
This will be my first year at the fest. Wondering if you can hear the bands on the Lakeshore stage between sets on the Samsung?
If you're on the rail at Samsung you won't have the best sound but if you're standing somewhere a little further back in Hutchinson Field you should have no problem.
Can't wait to melt in the sun all day Friday camping for Radiohead, haha. The only choice that really hurts me is Die Antwoord/LCD Soundsystem. It's an easy choice (LCD) but I've been trying to see ninja and Yolandi for years and thought I was finally gonna get the chance to do so. Hiatus Kaiyote would be a good after show or Danny Brown or if they got FIDLAR and Wavves to do a show together I'd be happy. But, I'm mostly hoping they can pull at least one act that isn't at the fest that I love for an after show.
Still considering if getting a Friday pass just for Radiohead is worth it. Wish I could see Future too but the schedule..
Just show up to Future and leave after he plays I Just Fucked Your Bitch in some Gucci Flip Flops, it won't get any better after that.
If Radiohead's production is anything like the last tour, watching from a comfortable distance may even be preferable to being up close. It wouldn't be hard at all to catch a good but of Future and roll up to Radiohead.
I keep telling myself I'd like to give Lolla another shot but then I see their schedule and remember why I disliked it so much. The smaller acts getting 40 mins hurts, and making that trek from North to South tales about 30 mins in crowds, always caused to miss half of sets.
Also, I'll be interested to see how well Radiohead will draw against Major Laser and Martin Garrix. Have a feeling it won't be that massive of a crowd for Radiohead.
