So....
I didn't enjoy the Radiohead set as much as I should've and wanted. And I was really close to the stage to start out, too.
I'm an epileptic, so being so close for STROBE LIGHTS FUR DAYZ isn't exactly a good idea. Also I kept getting stepped on in the crowd, so I peaced out by "Climbing Up the Walls".
The pacing of the set could've been better though. The first thirty minutes was constant mosh from my position. I could've used a break.*
Once I got to the hill and had a chance to rest though, it was great. The second half, and especially the encore ("Let Down" was my favorite song of the set), was amazing. I do wish they trotted out different In Rainbows songs though.
Even though I think HAELOS' set was rather...workmanlike, it was a pleasure meeting some of you in real life.
Modern Baseball and Frank Turner were both amazing sets. I'd go see them again in a heartbeat. (Although my exertion during those sets probably had something to do with my exhaustion during Radiohead). Wedding Singer will probably be in my head for the next week.
Foals was good, but M83 was better.
LOL Lewis del Mar.
What I caught of Saba was alright. His constant imploring the crowd to sing reminded me of "Please clap".
I was standing around the worst people for Radiohead. Two different fights almost broke out by people getting mad at those who were pushing their way to the front (like a chain of ten people). Plus there was a lot of people talking during some of the slower songs which sucks. A great set though!
For those who find it interesting my moms favorite set was major lazer and my dads was m83. The only act they knew coming into the festival was RHCP lol.
It was awesome meeting you guys! After Saba I caught most of Saint Motel which just felt like a Fitz and the Tantrums rip off. More of a show my mom would like. After that was Joey Purp. Perry's crowd wasn't as awful as yesterday and I moshed for the latter half. I was bummed that Chance came out for some other Perry's set. I don't get why he would ignore his friends for a later time slot, especially when he could have just played the festival. Camped from Foals on and both Foals and M83 were really great (man that bassist/guitarist of M83 is the star of the show) but what was wrong with mixing for M83. There was an obnoxious amount of sub bass to where it not only hurt my ears (I'm an idiot and didn't bring ear plugs like I planned) but also drowned out a lot of instrumentation. I made some friends in the crowd before Radiohead and they exceeded all (very high) expectations by a very large margin. I'm seriously speechless about it. 0 complaints minus the unavoidable "Why didn't the play...?"
I bought down beats after bonnaroo and my ears have thanked a lot. No ringing when I try to fall asleep!
I LOVE my down beats! Super handy just to keep on my key chain! I had no regrets starting out at Con Brio so I hope the meetup went ok! I mean, the guy only did like 3 backflips... Anyways, I enjoyed how the Samsung stage progressively got better. Day Wave was sorta a snoozefest, but Struts, Foals, and M83 were all incredible! A little disappointed Foals didn't play more of their older stuff, but the rain kinda fit with their music so I dug that. M83's bass was way too heavy (thanks down beats!) but watching the guitarist play the electric cowbell was definitely the highlight of the set! Radiohead was a top 5 life experience. 'Nough said.

I watched some of the ASAP Ferg set as I was getting my son to sleep last night (he seemed to love it as the soundtrack to Winnie the Pooh), and that crowd made me feel like I was ancient.
I do feel lucky because the only truly bad crowd I've run into so far was at Rufus du Sol. As always, it seems the worst of the worst has continued to confine themselves at Perry's.
After reading Reddit I feel like the only one that loved Radiohead's set. Even fans called it boring... I must have just been in the best spot of the crowd
Is it me, or is Miike Snow really putting in some work and uping their musicality and even jamming out a bit. Sylvia and Black n Blue....that shit sounded so good on AltNations live stream.
My gf and I went to their after show and they were really impressive actually. They have some misses in their set, but the highs are actually really good
saw on sarah barthel of phantogram's snapchat that there was an LCD show last night. looked like it was in a pretty small spot (maybe a 1,500 capacity?) anyone lucky enough to catch that late night set?!

There was one last night & one tonight. I tried like hell to snag tickets to either/both, with absolutely no luck. I actually had tickets in my cart but got kicked out of the system. So no after shows for me.

Just got done with the local natives and classixx after show and my God was it amazing. Free music and free booze, and if you're going tomorrow you NEED to see Local Natives.

I love LN, but am a bit nervous about their new album after their recent singles. Glad to hear they're still great live.
Another good day. Mutemath and chili peppers were the top performances for me. TDCC disappointed and lolawolf was god awful.
For those who find it interesting my mom and dads favorite show was mutemath.
wtf is mutemath, take your parents to some good shit homie.
"Wtf?"
They conflicted on the stream with Jane's or I would have watched. Surprised you don't know of them. I only saw them once, but that's a pretty big act. Encore Future show and also a replay of Janes is on later.
I liked the part where Jane's Addiction suspended girls from hooks in their backs and swung them over the audience. That was pretty neat. I witnessed the preteen kid in front of me hit puberty.
And it was nice to finally see RHCP put on a high energy, engaging show. Both times I saw them in 2012 they seemed pretty beat. I just kinda wish they would take the Radiohead route and drop some of their hits in favor or some lesser known tracks. I've come to terms with the fact that I will never see "Slow Cheetah" live.

Loved they brought a couple of people from the Pumpkins out to do Jane Ayys. And yeah, that's cool. The part with the swinging chicks just ended. Like I said last night, they may get the best live sound of any bands these days. Before today's shows run, 2 Door is on Red Bull 1 at 10:50 and RHCP at 11:55. Mutemath is 11:45 followed by Last Shadow Puppets on Channel 2, Big G (not my favorite set, but I think they brought out Waka Flocka Flame.

Agreed. The setlists this yeah have not been to my liking, but it's the 3rd set I've seen this year with very high energy. I'm still giving it to Jazz Fest due to the RHCP/Meters jam, but that was good, Lolla was good and Roskilde was good. And good for them for giving a shit again.
