Looks like I'm gonna be in Illinois visiting friends the weekend of Lolla, was able to convince said friends to do one day of Lolla. Fingers crossed Radiohead is playing.
Also for everyone above speculating Coldplay, I'm almost 100% certain they aren't going to do any festivals this year, and instead do their own stadium tour.

First guess
Roger Waters * Kanye West * Coldplay * LCD Soundsystem * Jack U * Jane's Addiction * Ellie Golding * Beck
Thursday
LCD vs Jack U
Friday
Coldplay vs Jane's Addiction
Saturday
Kanye vs Beck
Sunday
Roger Waters vs Ellie Golding
Going to be real interesting with 4 days this year. Hope they continue along the lines of Paul last year and get a big name legacy headliner. Could also see Pearl Jam or Radiohead at 1

#1. Who are you? #2. Based on your above answer, what do you think the chances of Kanye are for Lolla? #3. Idk why, but I feel like this is the year that Pitchfork could make the jump and grab Radiohead. They got Kendrick/Beck in 2014 and Wilco/Sleater/Chance in 2015 with a great undercard. I bet this is the year they make a jump to a festival-level headliner.

1. Wanny 2. No idea 3. They couldn't even afford them if they wanted them.

Launchy had said Live Nation tried unsuccessfully to book Waters for both Lolla and Bonnaroo, so I wouldn't expect him there.
K. Thom Yorke played Pitchfork Paris. I know theres a difference, but it doesnt mean you gotta tell me to fuck off. At least thats more creative than the typical AnCo/Frank Ocean/Miguel predictions.

It might be more creative but it certainly isn't realistic.

Sorry dude, my use of cheeky youth slang was supposed to indicate I was just kidding around.
Just found out I can't go to Lolla though, so hopefully you're right and they do play P4k.

Oh shit, my bad man. I'm new here so I just thought you were mad at me for saying something kinda dumb. Sorry for getting all offended.
In reality, Id take a Frank/Sufjan/Tame Impala so hard, but I feel like Pitchfork always has a somewhat "legacy" act. Not from the 80s per say, but an older cat. Sufjan being the oldest there may be too young.
Plus I wonder if the budget would allow three top-level acts like that.
A guy on reddit posted this. Pretty fake, but some interesting choices here. Thoughts on what could be on the legit lineup/def wont? i66.tinypic.com/2z7id5h.jpg%5B/IMG%5D

Just out of curiosity, what makes you think that it's pretty fake?
That being said I'd be pumped if this was the lineup for this year, but I don't want to get my hopes up just yet.

A couple details to note: 1. The "Lollapalooza" title is a lower definition than the rest of the photo (zoom in), implying it was cut and pasted from somewhere else. 2. The Lolla title is overlapping the "l" in July, which is bad formatting. 3. The lack of edm is glaring. 4. The overall lack of artists is also glaring. There should be more than last year, since it's four days. This looks like there are less. 5. There are no "sub-headliners" identified, either with a different color or a larger text size. Instead, DCFC is listed as a similar format to Radiohead, which is just off.

It's January and no one would mess around with billing seven months out

Hangout. Firefly.
This is under the assumption that they'd be releasing the lineup as early as those festivals did out of the norm this year. Don't see why Lolla would do it too so I doubt anyone at C3 is playing around with billing and it be a legit leak. I mean look at it anyways.
I mean it says sample approval but I don't see why the would send artwork approval with the actual lineup with it on it too.
