flylo vs die antwoord sucks but ill take flylo into flume. sunday feels dry as fuck. willie nelson is the only big draw and that comes at the price of missing Miike Snow. wtf acl swap Miike Snow with young the giant or haim and let one of them play the main stage vs willie.
Saturday: Haelos>>Jr Jr.>>City and Colour>>DJ Mustard I guess>>LL Cool J because why not>>Anderson Paak>>Schoolboy>>Chainsmokers because some how I've missed them even though they've been at every fest I'm in might bail depending on how close I am for Kendrick>>Kendrick
Sunday:Brett Dennen>>nap under some shade>>gallant>>break science>>St Paul BB>>Willie>>rail for LCD
Friday is beautiful. Have they always done scheduling like this? I love it. You might have a direct conflict but you never have to worry about those 3-4 people overlapping to where you miss out on a bunch of people because they staggered all of them 15 minutes. I wish Roo would do it this way.

See Jack Garratt if you're opposed to DJ Mustard. He has a couple decent songs that I've heard. Also City and Colour nearly put me to sleep at Lolla and Cold War Kids has not been a favorite of mine either but I still found them a little more interesting than City and Colour. Don't make the same mistakes I have

Appreciate the heads up. I'll check them out. I wouldn't be opposed to seeing the struts again for the like seventh time in that slot instead haha. Tory Lanez is a little too boring for me and I've heard similarly about CWK but I still haven't seen them.

The crowds are fricken big and getting up close can be a nightmare. Also, people notoriously camp out w blankets n such so it can be a huge battle. Zilker is a pretty big park n takes a good hike if your traveling from main stage to main stage. Not trying to be a downer but just be prepared. I haven't been since 2013 so anyone else chime in about recent experiences.

So we who wants to me up for Lizzo
It's very similar to Coachella from my experience where you can wiggle your way to the rail a set or two before at the main stages if you know how to work the L corners of the safety rail and the sound stages. The crowds are freaking huge for such a small park and the sets start and end right around each other so if you wanna get close for a headliner you'll have to skip the sets before on the side stages.
Need to do more research for the earlier shows but so far my schedule is
? > Asleep at the Wheel > ? > Banks & Steelz > ? > Foals > Cold War Kids or camp for a better spot for > FlyLo > might see like 30 of Flume or camp for > Radiohead
? > HAELOS > Joey Purp > ? > DJ Mustard or Jack Garratt > LL Cool J > Anderson .Paak > ScHoolboy Q > The Chainsmokers or Two Door Cinema Club or camp for > Kendrick
Magna Carda > Lizzo > Domo Genesis > Anderson East > Margo Price > Nathaniel Rateliff or Local Natives > Bob Moses > Willie > Haim or Young the Giant > LCD
Whaaaat? Flying Lotus > Radiohead instead of M83 > Radiohead???
You can always hear the band on the opposite stage on that side of the field between sets at the stage you're at. I haven't looked for a map since I'm on my phone, but it could be M83 between FlyLo and Radiohead, or it might be Flume. The schedule layout makes me think it is Flume, though M83 would be a better lead in. Last year deadmau5 fans on the rail were complaining because Bassnectar was on the opposite side if the park right before mau5.
It'll be Flume that you can hear from the Samsung stage between FlyLo and Radiohead. The stage positions don't change year to year and the arrangement on the schedule is a good indicator of how the stages are positioned relative to one another (Miller Lite will be the mid-sized stage next to Honda / Homeaway or whatever will be across from Samsung). But ... I also noticed they have a "Zilker" stage instead of Austin Ventures. I think that's new, and it also has some bigger acts headlining each night than AV would typically have (TDCC / M83 instead of acts like Boots, Blight Light Social Hour, Turnpike Troubadours, etc). So I'm a little confused at that. Zilker might end up being a slightly bigger stage with some different positioning than AV has had in past years.

I haven't studied the newer schedules much, but I remembered on my 07 guide the order stages were listed on the schedule did not match up with the actual physical locations. I thought they had in recent years. I was just holding out hope M83 would be in that side of the field before Radiohead. Flume should be a good time.

i read they basically switched the Austin Ventures stage with the merch tent and made that stage the same size as Homeaway and Miller Lite.
