I can't decide if this show was better than Roo or not but they both were the best of both festivals. James said they're finishing the new album in the next 3 months and will go on another tour next year. I assume Austin will be on that tour..
Not going to do a review by any means but The city of Austin is awesome, every show I saw was great, and the festival infrastructure was immaculate. Only major issue I had was with crowds. I'm sure this is an issue at similar festivals but the number of idiot high school kids that screwed over the crowds was horrible. Handholding chains of 15 teenagers moving through people that waited hours up front only to leave after 15 minutes is disrespectful and immature beyond belief. I could go on and on about it but I'm just happy that they all dipped within the first 2 songs of LCD. The crowd brought it last night and I was overjoyed to be a part of the dancing mafia that was making the ground shake during All My Friends.
