I'd say along with Radiohead they booked one of teh bigger acts we'll see at the Rockchella or whatever the hell is happening Oct 7-9. I'd wager on McCartney !

I'm really interested in their new album. It'll be awesome to hear Josh Klinghoffer blended into the RHCP-type sound and style a bit more. He sounded great on Aeroplane in particular. Wish i had gone!!

Yeah man. That was such a treat for me. I am in the minority, but I Love One Hot Minute. All these people surrounding me and my brother in law were singing all the newer songs word for word. That came on and he and I knew all the lyrics and people were looking at us like wtf? Haha. I woke up and listened to Freaky Styley, Uplift Mofo Party Plan and some of Blood Sugar and Mother's Milk because we didn't think we would hear much based on the two shows I caught in 2012 (Hangout/Roo). They ended up playing Higher Ground (we had temporarily ducked out to see some of J. Cole), Suck My Kiss and the long encore of Give it away with Zigaboo, Ivan and George Porter Jr. That was actually the greatest of the old songs for obvious reasons but hearing Aeroplane was great even if it's still one of their hits.
Btw this guy up front has dynamite footage on YouTube though the audio isn't the greatest. He has the whole set broken up by songs.
Give me the skinny on this fest. How fast does it sell out? How late does the music run? Good after shows? What's the 411.
Weekend one runs out fast, weekend two not quite as quickly. Shows are until 10pm, they have cut off artists in the past that run late. There are tons of after shows.
I have bought and sold on the street outside the fest before pretty easily.
