Given that not only is Radiohead ramping up their marketing this weekend, but also Red Hot Chili Peppers announcing new music on Thursday, I think it's safe to say both are gonna be on the lineup. At first I thought RHCP would be a single-weekender, but now it's looking like they're gonna be on both.
I'd like to think Elton John will be there with that random October 5th date in Baton Rouge, but since then, his tour has expanded, and now he's booked a residency in Vegas from the 12th-30th. Seems unlikely now, but he could still be a weekend 1er only? They probably wouldn't do a top 5 headliner as one weekend.

Yeah obviously since Lollapalooza, but the fact that those two are building up their promos the week ACL announces their lineup is not coincidental. It has at least a tad bit to do with it.

Considering this fest because so many people I've met tell me either Austin or Denver are their favorite cities in the US. How is the fest? Is it similar to Lolla? Lolla doesn't sound like my cup of tea with the long walks between stages younger demographic and logistical nightmare.
For the first time ever I'm actually excited to take the long way into school. Just got off work and am about o drive down Lamar from Slaughter to campus. I'll let ya know if I see anything.

Yeah, I wouldn't go out of my way, but if it was a alternative route not too far out of the way to my destination, I'd take it. I think it's a fun idea and will help with excitement for some. I'd think it was neat if I drove by and saw the spinners.
