I'm trying to be positive, but I'm so afraid it's going to be a trainwreck again. They say two weeks isn't enough time to book a replacement for Tears For Fears, which I think is a crock. It may be something completely different, but it could be SOMEONE. Also, it's a week out and they don't even have a finished map yet.
Shows have been awesome. The Killers with the fireworks going off was special. Ice Cube was great. Also I give the festival credit when the rain came they wanted to shut down the Neighborhoods show but he talked then into letting him play sweater weather for the crowd before they closed the stage. They also let Ice Cube go over his time and into DeadMau unopposed time.
The cashless system has worked fine for my wife and I but we loaded are wristbands early before the festival started. We have seen so many people struggling with theirs. I bought a guy a beer at Cube because his wristband didn't automatically refill like it was supposed to. If they work out the kinks the cashless system is the way to go.
My only complaint is the craft beer selection sucks
I did not use the cashless system, but did see a lot of complaints. I was pleasantly surprised though, I had a great time. All by my lonesome. Grimes is cool, but I have a feeling she'd be annoying as hell to hang out with. Haim are badasses, but I need to read about their childhood...they HAVE to have hippie parents, I'm so curious about their upbringing after seeing them now. Fireworks during Killers was magic. They get so much undeserved hate. Saw some bands that I didn't even know were going to be at Roo, guess I need to look at the lineup better! And lastly, Cincy has some killer bands...Mad Anthony & Arlo McKinley for sure, they fit right in there with the national acts.
The Deadmau5 set was the highlight of the weekend, but there were other great shows and I thought the festival ran very smoothly. Hoping for good things next year.
Lineup coming Jan 24th. I'm not smart enough or patient enough to sift through tour routes for guesses. But man, I wish I had the slightest clue about headliners.

I did a google search of some likely headliners and came up with nothing
