Have reliable sources that EmiSunshine & The Rain will be playing Bonnaroo and Coachella. She is a 12 year old wonder girl from McMinnville, TN that has already played at the Ryman 3-4 times, the Grand Ole Opry about 10 times, opened for Willie Nelson in Las Vegas, and is getting quite the buzz. I have confirmation of this from one of my best friends that recently started playing in the band, just working out final details (from wht was told to me). I will say if this comes through, it would be amazing to see one of my best friends playing on one of the main roo stages.
Please go check her out on youtube if you can.
She's booked for Stagecoach, sure she's playing Coachella too and didn't get the names mixed up?
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
What's even bigger news is that he's claiming "dead and co is opening for ween at bonaroo". Even as a huge fan I didn't think they would grab the headlining position, but this sounds like an absolutely epic night!

That makes me think Ween>>D&C will definitely be Sunday. Which was already presumed, with PJ probably on Saturday and LCD/unknown on Friday (or those two reversed).
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

I don't see how Dead and Company would be opening for Ween unless they are playing LN which means they wouldn't be Sunday
Ween certainly has the chops and durability to play an epic 3 hour headlining show (or 4 hours for that matter), but it surprised me too. Even as an in-demand reunion group, I assumed they weren't big enough with the masses to garner the HL position. And no one wants to see The Dead only play for 45 minutes as a pre-headliner. He used the word "headliner", obviously, but I would be willing to bet that they'll be late night shows.

There's no way Ween is a headliner and Dead and Co. are opening for them. Someone somewhere read or said or typed something wrong. This doesn't really tell as much that we didn't already know.
Edit: What lejot said. He probably just means a late night slot or something. Possibly even late night on the What.

It's insane that this is being discussed. The "Dead" name and John Mayer's star power will by absolutely NO means be pre-headlining for Ween, a group that probably 50+% of the people at Bonnaroo have never even heard of, let alone listened to, let alone are fans of

I wouldn't get too caught up with the scheduling. This March I talked to Killer Mike and his manager and they said they didn't know their exaxt time-slot at Bonnaroo yet, and that they had just gotten their set time for Coachella that week. I'm sure it varies from band to band, some might need to be scheduled early to accomodate a larger tour, but I'm sure they don't have the lineup finalized, much less the set times.
