This. And I'm officially leaning my opinion to A Place to Bury Strangers
I don't think it's APTBS. I have no idea what the answer is. This one just feels like trying to grasp for anything that could fit the clue. It will probably end up being something that should have been obvious that no one could figure out.
Also, there's no way that it's Carrie Underwood.
I agree that it's not Underwood, that feels like a waste of a HL spot for the current festival audience. No way that it would be a Which Stage mid day act so if there's a country star as HL, Dolly maybe? but I don't see the non-CMA pull
They haven't had a huge female act though. Outside of Bjork they haven't booked a headline caliber female act. And as far as mainstream fans go it's not even close, Underwood would be a much bigger booking.
Florence + the Machine
But I blame that more on her releasing her album too late, because she was also pre-HL at Coach and Gov Ball
She was totally shafted with that one hour time slot IMO. Although I think a big part of that was her recovering from her broken ankle/foot (whichever it was).
Carrie Underwood would definitely be a headliner, and there's no way they put a headliner as the 7th Roo Clue. If they gave a headliner in the clues, it would be the last one. It is kinda funny that her name works with the clue, but I'm still thinking either A Place to Bury Strangers or FJM.
I still think it's unlikely to be A Place To Bury Strangers because it's unlikely that they use part of the band's name in the clue.
The FJM logic doesn't ring true to me either because I think that is a two part clue including a name of a scary flick and a place where something's buried.
That said, I think it's even less likely that they actually booked Carrie Underwood. (But if they did, she'd likely headline.)
Quotes for preservation. Lamb of god would be a massive get for Bonnaroo, and the Metal crowd that frequents.
Uh, say what?
Lamb of God isn't very good these days. As a metal fan, I wouldn't give two shits if they were booked. I have free tickets to their tour with Anthrax, Deafheaven and Power Trip, and there's next to no chance I stick around for their set. It'd be much cooler if they embraced some of the new, more innovative acts who broke big this year. Toss Tribulation up there, or go for the crossover with Pyramids or whatever.
Thank God. I was waiting for anyone to second guess several people's excitement for Lamb of God. Thought I was the only one not excited.
I have some friends that love LoG and would be very stoked to see them on the lineup. Honestly I haven't given shit about them since 2005ish though. Bring back Animals As Leaders!
I'm so behind this! Animals as Leaders is amazing. I've seen them multiple times in Florida. How does this forum feel about Progressive Rock? Like, will we ever see Yes or Rush at the farm? (But I think Neil Peart stopped playing?)

Strangers is a scary flick... Bury it someplace.. Roo clue solved. next

I bet it's Miami Horror, considering they're booked at Coachella and makes the most sense for the clue.

Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

Miami Horror doesn't really make sense for that clue, though. Like, what about Miami makes it particularly a place where something is buried?
Well Rummy 500 does have a valid point, I think it fits better the APTBS. The where to bury it = a place to bury part of the clue does seems way to literal to be right.
Miami Horror fits better, just by simply naming a place. I won't go into the other answer that fits, since you're determined it's not her.

I feel the exact same way. sacrament was the last album from them that did anything for me. as a drummer I'll always appreciate what chris adler does and I'll always respect randy, but their output has just been kind of derivative of their old stuff lately.

I think the "but where is it buried" = "a place to bury" is just a little to literal.
I mean imagine this conversation
Person 1: "Where are you getting drinks at?"
Person 2: "Ohh a place to get drinks at"
It doesn't answer the question.
Miami Horror and Carrie Underwood both fit the clue.
Miami Horror seems most likely with them being at Coachella, Underwood actually follows in order of how the two questions are asked.
Yeah, I'm really not sure about this particular clue. I think there are a lot of decent guesses, but nothing definitive. I'd actually say Carrie Underwood fits the best, but I just don't see her being on the lineup, letting alone being a clue.

It wouldn't shock me if she was there(I made the arguement a while ago in regards go ZBB that it wouldn't shock me to see Roo get a country headliner this year in combination with the 3 names we know. Figured it would be a safe year for them to try and tap into the market). I do agree, it would be weird for her to be a clue. I'm leaning towards Miami Horror right now
