They've never done any additions to lineups in the past, correct?
They had a "Mystery Artist" listed on the initial lineup one year that I believe turned out to be The Decemberists. But no additions in the traditional sense.
Didn't see one public on Spotify so went ahead and made one - compiled each artists' most popular songs, as well as what each artists is playing in their most recent setlists on setlist.fm. Enjoy!
P.S. If you don't necessarily wanna know potential setlist orders for the ones with full set times, this playlist might not be the one for you - or you could always Shuffle!
I dunno, all the names he got right were fairly easy guesses to be making, some confirmed. If he had had Tool (obviously), Mumford, Wolf Parade, Buffalo Tom, or one of the other more unique gets I'd be more inclined to believe he'd seen it.
The website talks about exclusive VIP viewing areas at each stage. I hope they don't stick this right in front of the stages (unlike, say, Panorama). It was always nice at previous BC editions that there was ample space/opportunity for everybody to get close.

Eugh is that really what panorama is doing? That's so annoying.

That's not really accurate. The VIP area at panorama was a section to the right of the stage that went about 1/3rd of the way across the front. 2/3rds of the front of the strange is still GA
Holy shit, this is so cheap I may get VIP tickets. I'm so used to Roo + travel.
I got so spoiled by Shaky Knees VIP I dont know if I can do it anywhere else anymore. VIP (Early Bird = $425) gets you free food and booze at SK. The $900 "Platinum VIP" at BC gets you "specially priced beverages"

This lineup is great and gives me a lot of confidence that Eaux Claires Festival will also have an awesome lineup since both are co-curated by Aaron Dessner
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
There are only going to be 200-300 parking spaces for attendees, and those are reserved for the new "beyond VIP" levels they're offering. You'll probably need to drive to an MBTA station and park there, taking the subway into town. A lot of people will be doing this and I'd expect the Alewife station parking garage (the only one on the "north of the Charles" segment of the Red Line) to be the first to fill up.
You might want to think about finding unmetered on-street parking where allowed within a 5-10 min walk of a Red Line station (in or near Davis, Porter, or Central Squares).
The parking option people probably won't think of is Kendall Square. It's the high tech/biotech heart of east Cambridge, bordering MIT. There are a handful of parking garages in that area and they won't be nearly as popular as the MBTA garages. They're also likely to be a lot more expensive than the other parking options, however.
I parked at Alewife on 4th of July a couple years ago and it wasn't close to full, and you know as well as I do how many people go into the city then.
Alewife and Sullivan Square are always my go to for parking. Alewife is cheap and Sullivan Square is $6 a day. The only difference now is id have to transfer to the red line instead of just getting off at Haymarket.
Is it just me or is every local media outlet just ignoring Tool when they've brought up the lineup so far? Every radio station I've heard bring up BC only wants to talk about Mumfords, Chance, and The XX. I've always wanted to see Tool so I'm definitely excited for them but I'm just surprised the top billed act is being overlooked by every local outlet I've heard bring up BC so far.

I hope everyone ignores tool. More room for me to stroke my beard

Put your faith in the money that Madison Square Garden company has obviously pumped into the budget for talent. They're cutting the checks.

That's a better way of putting it, but it'd still be nice if BC sticks to their old setup.
