Hello fellow infooroers, its been a lon time since I have made a post on the forums but I have always casually followed the forum for years. I am selling my Boston Calling 3 day pass for under face value. I unfortunately can't make it this year. I have sold tickets to fellow inforooers in the past and can have them vouch for my honest easy transaction. I will ship it with tracking and insurance. I am also willing to provide any personal information to make the buyer feel comfortable about the transaction. I have an ebay account with great seller reviews I can provide, also any receipt of purchase of the festival 3 day wristband pass. Message me at brianweinstein84@gmail.com i have the wristband already and can ship it within 48 hours of receipt of payment. Looking to do a direct paypal transaction where i create an invoive for the buyer.
my favorite part of visiting new cities is eating everything (and my fiance plans trips based on what anthony bourdain tells us to do), so i always make google docs with places i'd like to try. i know a lot of this weekend will be spent at the festival, but i figured i'd share my list so far. many on the list serve brunch and all of the places on the list are veggie friendly (thought most aren't totally veg/vegan). feel free to make other suggestions, as i've never been to boston. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1BcNyY8s6kCRqE6rNe9UPEmI3BK8L_r_xMT85UWxshRQ/edit?usp=sharing

You should add Jim's Deli in Brighton Center on washington street to your list. Only slightly veggie friendly (probably not vegan) but incredible food for a old-timey deli. Best food in that neighborhood by far, huge portions, not too expensive.
EDIT: Don't use your phone while you're in line or ordering. You will get reamed out by Jim. It's one of the things I love about the place; they will yell at your for being disrespectful by staring at your phone while you wait.

Didn't read your spreadsheet, but if vegan options are important to you, try any of the Clover Food Lab locations.
(What I love about the map is that there appears to be a traffic cone next to the ferris wheel. If the map is drawn to scale, that's either the world's largest traffic cone or the world's smallest ferris wheel.)

I'm wondering that myself. I was figuring they'd do the split staging they've done in the past and put some of the slightly less mainstream artists on the third stage, but they could definitely go Roo style and have a designated main stage that's separated. I hope not, because I feel like that could make scheduling even worse.

I've been holding out on buying tickets because of the potential for this schedule to be an absolute shizshow. I will say, they proved me wrong with the lineup, hoping they do again with a well put together schedule.

Just checked the BC twitter, and they said that there will be multiple water filling stations, not just one. Also important to note that no backpacks bigger than 12"x12" inches are allowed, which for me means no Camelbak =/
Boston Calling has just released an official video with tips, suggestions, and rules for travel to and from the site.
BTW, this upcoming weekend will be the third straight weekend during which some portion of the "north of the Charles" Red Line has been shut down with shuttle buses replacing subway service. I'd like to think that they're wise enough to not do that during the festival, but they shut down Park Street to Kendall Red Line service last summer during a weekend which included the free Outside The Box Boston festival, the Davis Square ArtBeat festival, and Paul McCartney at Fenway, so who knows?

That place is great. My friend lives in walking distance so I ate there what felt like every day I was in Boston.
