Aftershock put up some photos for about 10 minutes before taking them down. They got Tool, Korn, Avenged Sevenfold, and Disturbed. Holy buttrock, Batman!

I'd be down to see Korn, but otherwise fuck some Rodney Dangerfield ass metal. Give me Suicidal and Priest and SxOxDx and Black Sabbath and Anthrax and shit all day.
I mean, we didn't know shit last year before the lineup. And we only knew Outkast the year before thanks to infinitypass. I don't think we knew shit the 2 years before that either. Leads me to believe that not many people in this area find out deetz ahead of time like Buku and Jazzfest. And if they do, they keep a tight lid on it.

We got a bunch of 14 in early that day with the radio release mistake. And we did have a few things last year we assumed, but it wasn't much. I just don't know what C3 is going to do this year. They say they're not going to change much as far as the booking, at least not now, but I don't know. Live Nation has a mixed track record of festival success. They sell out some things and fail at others. You never know. I guess if I had to guess 10-15 acts and also under the assumption that they're not going to bring back acts from last year's Sunday rainout, I guess it will be something like:
Tool Wu Tang (some members one way or another) DJ Mustard Big Gigantic Rebirth Brass Band Flosstradamus Disclosure Local Natives LCD Soundsystem M83 Cage the Elephant Vince Staples Death Cab RL Grime Haim
That's sort of based on other fall festivals, people hitting all the fests this year, and other random assumptions. I'm not saying these are 15 acts I would see, because that would be wrong. But I'm thinking about half of these should be there, and if not, then C3 goes random.
Phi, how does the lineup look? I know you guys get those press releases. Is it decent, ho-hum, mixed bag, same as every other corporate generic fest this year or what?
I'm gonna be cheesing pretty hard at this fest. I hope they get Korn too. Why not? It'd be stupid of them to not go all the way with 90s bro band trifecta. If you're going to draw a certain demographic, don't fuck it up by slapping the Lumineers & Sons as the third headliner.
Last year we got the lineup a day early or maybe just a few hours early. I have gotten tidbits over the years, but this year has been mostly crickets. I really hope that we have Maynard in some form and the PoR would be cool. I can't wait for tomorrow. Last day of work and the Voodoo lineup, nothing is getting done.
I know both of y'all have to have seen some of the early press on this and would have some comment one way or another, right? Generic? Great? Average? Mix of Both? C'mon!!! Y'all gotta give something up on this!
We need something for le plur now... DJ Shadow - Endtroducing... | Amon Tobin - Adventures in Foam | Orbital - In Sides | Underworld - Second Toughest in the Infants

I saw APC bust out their catalog in order at Vegas a few years back but no way Tool would do that. Although I'd do anything to hear Eulogy live as it's the #1 song I've never heard live after 22 shows.
Hotel & tickets confirmed. Just need that lineup to drop baby.
