I’m only in town for a couple of days. What’s the significance of Boggs?
no significance per se; it's just a bar that opened up while i lived there and i only ever heard of wayyy lower key shows than soul glo happening there. always saw it as just a hangout bar instead of somewhere for a hardcore show so when i saw that on their tour schedule i said wow that's wild lol
fun place though! recommend going if you can. you can pregame at the breweries off the west side beltline.

Haven't been there in a minute but I heard they changed up their stage setup and are getting a lot more bands (especially metal and hardcore) lately

it’s a free festival in the suburbs. Hanson, Band of Horses, Don McLean, The Fray, and a handful of one hit wonders. It’s 12-6ish both days and they let you bring beer and dogs in. It’s a fun time and they have a free shuttle from the Marta.
