Yeah I'm getting pit for this show. Told myself I wouldn't because Friday is stacked for my personal tastes, but as much as it's going to hurt to miss M83 I have to get pit for LCD.
If I want pit, when should I get in line? End of Chvrches?
This is my plan right now. If I have to I'll actually get in the line when they are still on, but I'm hoping I can watch them from a better spot and get in line while they are finishing up.

I doubt you'll have to. I'm planning on getting there around the start of J. Cole and I'm not too worried. I'd love someone to post updates in this thread the day of though. Would hate to miss my chance

We will try , service sucks at ROO as you know . But we will be waiting from the time they open the gates. Lots of bees though , super worried

Has anyone else considered emailing or messaging Bonnaroo on social media about the set lengths? People complained a lot about MMJ's 90 minute set last year and from I recall within a few weeks they bumped MMJ up to 2 hours.
Not that high I think, considering they didn't play much longer than 90 minutes at Coachella.
Coachella is also a lot stricter about set times.
Coachella is SUPER strict when it comes to set times. Given the more relaxed atmosphere at ROO I would imagine they play over . I also wouldn't be surprised if they had a few guests join them .

Anybody here catch pit for Jack White? I'd be interested to hear what time you got there & how the line was, because that strikes me as the closest act to LCD in terms of popularity / genre / where they were as an artist.
edit: iirc word at the time was that it wasn't a crazy hard pit to get into. but i was in the middle of the crowd

I did. I got to the end of the line right after Lionel Richie ended and ended up 8-10 rows or so from the front of the stage.
I think trying to head over to the pit after Leon Bridges should be totally fine. I am hoping so, anyway....'cause that's currently my plan.
That's the plan here. Gotta catch Leon. I'm gonna probably try going on the left side - I've heard that a lot of times on that side, even if you don't get pit, you can manage a solid spot/view.

I'm really hoping they change up their set list a little bit from Coachella. They said theyd be debuting new music this summer but they've yet to do so.

On my way to leave for Bonnaroo; hope to catch an Inforoo'er in the LCD pit. I really wonder if the lower attendance would allow me to catch at least some of M83's set and still get in the pit, or if I'll need to be there earlier. I'll play it by ear I guess. Everybody enjoy - this gonna be fucking awesome!

I'm think of staying for the first 5 songs of M83 (thru Intro judging by their standard setlist) then booking it over to LCD in hopes of getting a decent spot.
