Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I don't know if I'm more shocked by the lineup, or the overwhelmingly good response to this initial lineup on Facebook. Wow I guess Roo knows their audience.
Yeah, there appears to be a big disconnect between the comments there and on Reddit and the comments here. I'm siding with the comments here, for the most part.
So you're telling me I might get the once in a lifetime opportunity to see Chris Stapleton, some guys from lettuce, and maybe some DJ on drums or something cover "Hold On Loosely" on the farm? Outstanding!
Besides the false rumors of sub-headliners I didn't care about ... What happened to White Denim? And I thought people said Portugal. The Man and Shpongle would be there because they talked to the actual band...
Lies everywhere. And I hope this lineup is one of them.
How many Bonnaroo attendees are reading "Busch Stadium, 1982, your first concert" and saying "yeah, I can relate to that?" Five?
Many middle aged Deadheads with good jobs and expendable income...which they are banking on, I think.
But the curious thing is they didn't throw much "jam" in for those fans to check out when they're not at Dead & Co. Yes, there's stuff like Sam Bush, Lettuce, Ween, Bluegrass Super Jam and Grace Potter, but it appears they're definitely going for a younger demographic with this lineup.

I'm really conflicted about this line-up. The headliners are solid. Better than many years I've attended. And there are a dozen acts in the undercard I'm excited about although many I've already seen. But the second and third lines are mediocre. The rap is garbage and the electronic isn't far behind. That Superjam is almost embarrassing. I hate to miss Bonnaroo but it really isn't trying very hard to keep me around.

You're right I guess they do know their audience... Well for the most part. I still don't see how those that like this lineup will remember 1982 as their first concert.
A festival source confirmed the veracity of the leak.
Reached for comment, a festival representative responded, “I love this time of year, it is always filled with anticipation and speculation. As you know, we will be releasing our official lineup the 19th on Conan. The show is going to be a good one.”
This is not a lineup worth driving 20 hours for. If Sasquatch wasn't during Memorial Day weekend, I would seriously consider taking my first trip to the gorge.

What an insult that would be to all the artists listed on the "hoax" lineup if they had Conan announce a lineup without them. Like they were just bait for a cruel prank.
I'm just glad a lot of the people I go with care less about the lineup than me. Like most of us, I know too much music and am aware of too many artists they missed out on to be satisfied. But most of my crew are fine with it, which is good in that it reminds me how fun the festival is. But if there were another big camping festival accessible to me, I'd certainly be pushing for that over this

What superjam are you referring to? It literally just says "superjam" ...
Bonnaroo '15/'16/'17/'18/'19 - ACL '13/'14/'15/'17/'18 - Fun Fun Fun '14 - SXSW '13/'14/'15 - FPSF '16
2019 Shows: 4/30 - Vampire Weekend 6/28 - Father John Misty & Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit 9/6 - Cardi B w/ Teyana Taylor 9/28 - Vulfpeck w/ The Fearless Flyers
Totally agree. I don't get it when people freak just because their favorite band they wanted isn't there. If you don't recognize artists you like then you discover new ones. It blows my mind these guys are festival people.
I know. How dare these people have a certain level of expectation for a festival that now costs more than $400 to attend. The vibes alone are worth the cost of a GA ticket.
I get it, y'all like to pick on me because I actually enjoy the little community Bonnaroo creates just as much as the lineup. I have seen a bunch of these artists before. But I'm excited to see them at Roo specifically. I'd personally pick a roo show over a regular show anytime, just because in my Nashville experience, people get more excited for the artist at this festival than at a show. But that may be Nashville being too pretentious.

Just kidding, just saw it. Though I'm kind of confused by that whole superjam post/description lol.

To:
J Cole Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Big Grams Tyler The Creator Vince Staples Post Malone Goldlink Lizzo
This was what struck me immediately upon reading the leak on the app last night. And here, at a new day, it still shocks me - the electronic and hip hop/rap selection is fucking abysmal. The edm in particular - god awful, save for Cash Cat and I guess RL Grime.
Edit: oh and Hermitude is a good find. Idk if you've checked them out yet g a b f r a b but you should #hermitude#hermitude#hermitude
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. Hey no offense, but we used your name to troll our fans.

I don't have a link but part of the leak said that it was going to be classic rock themed - covers of Foreigner, REO Speedwagon, etc.
There's a lot of acts that your a lot that I want to see here. So I'm still a little disappointed but I can def get my money's worth. But just a few acts out of this list would have pushed it from eh to must go ELO Ryan Adams Joey Bada$$ Modest Mouse Action Bronson Doomtree Young Fathers The Arcs Bob Moses

Have you considered that most of the people talking about how this lineup is complete shit actually are familiar with the acts you're referring to? Like, dude up above just suggested that we all need to really dig into Third Eye Blind to discover the true depth of Bonnaroo's lineup.
I have, but that's not what his post was talking about. He was referring to the people who were unfamiliar.
