Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
It was leaked on Myspace a few years after that when someone from The Roots (I think the Roots...maybe someone else) posted the full lineup on their myspace page too early.
I can't think of a good reason why Bonnaroo would think announcing it on Conan is a good idea and I'm a fan of Conan.
Maybe TBS will be sponsoring the comedy tent this year (did they do it last year?) like IFC has done in the past and this is part of the deal.
Well he did announce Bonnaroo in 2011
Good point. This was kind of what I had in mind for what they would do this year but I had forgotten about it. I Figured it would be something along these lines where he introduces the video or something but doesn't just read off a list of names.

Video really shows how long ago this was, it has bearded Conan. But yeah, he's gonna work the announcement into the show somehow rather than introduce a video. It'll probably be some kind of skit.

Man I loved that 2011 Lineup.
Eminem (hype...but a disappointment in general), Arcade Fire, My Morning Jacket, Black Keys, Buffalo Springfield, Robert Plant, Mumford, Ray Lamontagne, Iron & Wine, Primus, Dr. John (playing Desitively Bonnaroo and Superjam), Florence & The Machine, Gogol Bordello, Big Boi, Ratatat.......great, great year of shows.
I hope Kaskade is our cheese EDM cuz his cheese is my favorite cheese when it comes to EDM cheese. Also, cheese
If we're gonna go full cheese, can we give something other than bass or progressive house a shot? Disregarding the obvious budget issues, book someone like Armin van Buuren (especially a Gaia/psytrance set).
Or, ya know, fucking Porter Robinson. I think roo is the last festival to not have him play. Did he not like it last time he was here? Tell him we have permanent bathrooms now.

I started going in 2012 and really wish I had come a year earlier. Missing My Morning Jacket>Arcade Fire sucks A LOT. Not to mention stuff like Widespread Panic, Buffalo Springfield, Primus, String Cheese Incident, etc.

he played 3 years ago. I'd welcome him back but it's not like it's been that long.
I'm drunk and waiting for food. Bonnaroo is in a weird spot this year for me. The current lineup has me as a no(this would be my 9th year in a row).
I'm seriously pushing for forecastle unless something changes. If they don't fix this lineup I'm done with Roo. Last years lineup was more than enough forgiveness than they deserve

Yeah, same. I just can't understand how, with the increased budget they were supposedly getting from the LiveNation partnership, they managed to create such abysmal lineups.

They don't care about their music fans. They know the frat boys will kept them alive #Bonnaroo=Firefly
I'm really excited to get back to the Farm after missing last year...But I tend to have a very eclectic taste (I love everything).
So far I am excited for 43 bands (and I haven't checked everything out yet)
- Pearl Jam (One of my all time favorites and there set back in '08 was incredible) - Dead and Company (I love the grateful dead and still haven't caught this version yet) - LCD Soundsystem ( I missed them last time they were at Bonnaroo and thought I would never get the chance to see them, until now) - Allen Stone (love the soul) - Big Grams (Can't wait to see this combo. I saw Phantogram years ago before they were hardly known and they were amazing.) - Blue Grass Super Jam (always a blast) - Chris Stapleton ( You can't beat the new version of old school country.) - Chvrches - Clutch - Death Cab For Cutie (awesome set at Bonnaroo '08) - Ellie Goulding (I think she will be fun) - Father John Misty (I've been wanting to this one for a while) - The Floozies - Flosstradamus - Grace Potter (She is always great) - Griz (I cant wait to dance my ass off at this set) - Haim - J Cole - Jason Isbell (His voice and stage presence is out of this world) - Leon Bridges - Lettuce (lets get funky) - Lord Huron - M83 - Macklemore and Ryan Lewis (They far exceeded my expectations last time they were at Bonnaroo) - Mavis Staples - Nathaniel Ratliff and the Night Sweats - Papadosio - Purity Ring - RL Grime - Sam Bush Band (Sam Bush is the MAN) - Sara Watkins - St Lucia - Steep Canyon Rangers (I hope Steve Martin Shows up) - Tame Impala (YES!!!!!!!!!) - Third Eye Blind (They are a band from my younger years that I have not seen, so why not?) - Two Door Cinema Club - Tyler the Creator - Vince Staples - Vulfpeck - Ween (I can't wait for this) - The Wood Brothers - X ambassadors - Zeds Dead

Meh. I didn't know what to pick for about 4 of these (EDM ones and Slayer vs. Lamb of God) but yeah. Pretty even.
2017: 2/24 Twenty One Pilots 4/1 Radiohead 6/7 Glass Animals 9/10 Modest Mouse 9/21 Arcade Fire 9/29 Kings of Leon 10/3 Foster the People 10/17 The xx 10/22 LCD Soundsystem 11/8 Bon Iver
2011 was the last year I went. Not my favorite year of the 5 times I've been, but great memories nonetheless. Primus, Big Boi -> Ratatat, The original Meters with Dr. John and late night Sound Tribe.
I still look back and say 2007 was my favorite year, but I also loved 2008.

Although I'm still the person that isn't convinced LCD is going to be there. Sure it makes sense, but nobody has given actual proof yet. The closest is CoS and we all know their "sources" are usually inforoo.
