Well, here's to hoping there's anything decent left we don't know about on Tuesday.
well, unless the cut the amount of acts, we've still got at least 5 more to go. i'm going to assume that we're going to get a round of additions, since they have been doing that every year.
As for the bro trains, maybe it was the sets I want to at roo or where I stood but I saw little of it. One bit of stupidity at Courtney Barnett but other than that it was really tame vs coachella where I have had to be firm, block people or even had words with people. Might have been lucky.
As far as lineup.
Pearl Jam LCD Blood orange Cashmere cat Deathcab Father John misty Haim Hundred waters Ilbeyi. Kamasi Leon bridges M83 Mavis staples Purity ring RL grime Shamir Tame impala Tyler
That's 18 without any digging. Think my count last year was 28. My count for coachella is almost 60 but I think super jam plus a few extras and some research could make this worthwhile.

This is the third time I've posted about this but, just give me Grimes and I won't say anything bad about this lineup again. I'll be satisfied

i think i hate Shamir, but i'm going to that set almost definitely. i want to know for sure how i feel about him

It was a good time when I saw him in December and he has quality jokes between songs. I also caught the end of his set at FFF and he had a larger band for that performance and they sounded really good. I'd catch him again barring conflict.

he reminds me of ruby rhod, who i thought was the worst thing about fifth element, and the songs are so ridiculous. but i've caught myself humming them so i must secretly enjoy it
CHVRCHES (i'm going to like them live eventually) clutch - they were epic in 2010. Daughter Death cab Father john misty hundred waters (EXCITED!) Kurt Vile Lamb of God Lord Huron M83 Purity Ring Shamir Tame impala Twin peaks Tyler Waxahatchee (again, excited) Ween
Seriously though I like the lineup. I've never seen LCD Soundsysem, M83, Death Cab For Cutie, Bully, Father John Misty, Waxahatchee, Blood Orange, Chvrches, Vince Staples.
Plus seeing Tyler, Tame Impala and another Fidlar show will be great. I'm stoked

As usual, the hot takes are reactionary (myself included). There's a few unique acts (Dungen, Blood Orange) and other exciting, if common for 2016, gets (LCD, Tame Impala, M83, Kamasi). After seeing Sufjan and Grimes on other US lineups, though, I was expecting more. Overall, it's ok, but probably not motivation for year 14.
J. Cole and Macklemore give off a pretty strong stench from the top though - Jesus.
