Shaky Knees, Newport, and not soon enough. Hmph.
Newport tends to have an insanely unique lineup. Even acts that are playing a bunch of other festivals that summer tend to change things up at least slightly for Newport. Especially the big acts (Jack White, Beck, Ryan Adams).
Obviously everyone's yearly experiences are different but there are plenty of bullshit "shouting matches" around who has been holding what spot for how long and then groups of assholes who think it's totally cool to force their way through a crowd just because "they really GET the music more, maaaaan". I've seen people moved to tears over dealing with assholes who kept pushing and pushing and bullying their way to a better spot.
Heck, CPK almost sent a man to the moon over this kind of thing at moogfest (the dummy called me a b word for resting my feet in between bands (in the MIDDLE of a group of about 20 of our friends, after he kept pushing them into me), and that was just about the most laid back festival I've ever been to. Assholes are in every large/semi-large crowd. It's unfortunately unavoidable.

Yea, I may get slightly annoyed if I accidentally step on someone's dress or something while they're sitting down between sets and they treat me like an asshole but I'd never insult the person and call them a Biznatch just for resting. If it's happening BETWEEN sets then who the fuck cares. If the show is halfway over and someone is sitting on the ground then maybe you can complain. But otherwise just take note of your surroundings.

I bought Presale... thought I was so golden with the three headliners and that this was going to be 2014 all over again.
I really need your help this year inforoo. Can people start listing out every god act? And I mean every single one. Shouldn't be that difficult right? My research needs to be top notch this year more than any.

As of right now my summer is looking like Bonnaroo + maybe a one-day at Mountain Jam OR Gov Ball + family trip to Europe
Might be my first year in a few missing NFF, unfortunatley.

It hits most of the areas I want to see but I agree with others that point out Roo is usually a bit better for rap and heavy/metal acts. Those seem to be lacking on the leaked names.
Also, maybe we will get lucky and there's a few more names besides the top 3 left off. It's kind of weird to have the rest listed but leave off a few acts.
PS Where did people see Tame Impala as late night?

Yea this sucks. Top tier acts are including Haim, J Cole( who is decent ,but still), Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, and Death Cab.. That sucks for me.. It may be great for some of you, but I'm definitely not going. I'm gonna see where else Beck lands and just go to that. It's too bad too, because I'd love to see that Tame Impala late night set. Saw them in 2013 though and last year at Shakey Knees.
