Any realistic chance we get a late night Saturday add?
Anyone expect a Prince themed Superjam Sat. Night on Which?
Cinema tent has this: “PURPLE RAIN” SCREENING PARTY: CELEBRATING PRINCE PRESENTED BY ALAMO DRAFTHOUSE
Dearly beloved, we are gathered here on this terribly sad day 2 get through it by celebrating the life and legacy of the visionary and singular musical force that was Prince. PURPLE RAIN is the semi-autobiographical tale of The Kid, a Minneapolis musician navigating the club scene while dealing with a romantic rival and a difficult family life. A massive hit upon release, it's a showcase for Prince's otherworldly musical, visual and sartorial stylings, and introduced the world to the glory of "When Doves Cry," "Let's Go Crazy," and of course, "Purple Rain."
And this: LABYRINTH” SING & QUOTE-ALONG + DAVID BOWIE MUSIC VIDEO PARTY PRESENTED BY ALAMO DRAFTHOUSE
You remind me of the babe.” “What babe?” “The babe with the power.” “What power?” “The power of the voodoo.” “Who do?” “You do.” “Do what?” “Remind me of the babe!” Come on people – do I really need to say anything more than that to convince you that this LABYRINTH SING & QUOTE-ALONG is not to be missed, no matter what the goblins tell you they’re going to do to your little brother?
Hopefully that means they will tribute both in other ways too.
Not that I wouldn't see a Labyrinth Quote-A-Long with all my friends on The Farm, but I just got to see it at my local theatre. Purple Rain though...gonna have to check that schedule!
Anybody familiar with the Everything Chance Twitter account? They're reporting that Chance the Rapperis going to be on the Farm again this year.
Seems unlikely and I know nothing about the account but I saw it making the rounds so I thought I'd share.
in his ama he was doing for coloring book, he said he was camping again this year. So he'll probably be there incognito like last year?
As soon as I saw the name for the Superjam, coupled with Chances new album I figured he would be perfect as an add. I'm not getting my hopes up too much but the chance (hah) of Chance being at the SJ went from 0% to over 50%. This makes me a happy camper
Jahman brahmen added it to their tour about 2 hours ago.they played by the hay bales last year at exit near wheel . It was a great opportunity to have some hay in my hand and yell at people hey! And then hold some out.

That's good news! I'm from Columbus and have seen them like a dozen times. By the way, I dig your pin. Some of my buddies were selling them at one time.
1. Klü 2. Connell Cruise 3. Josiah and The Greater Good 4. Ron Gallo
Also, I messaged Jahman Braman's fb page and asked about when they are playing, back at the Haybales stage in pod 3, multiple shows over the weekend, one show for sure after Dead and Company.
Updating the lineup by genre thread as we speak.

And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts
This bio is amazing. The band drama here is next level.
"The Pinklets is an all girl pop/rock band made up of the Abernathy sisters. Lucy, 13 (guitar and vocals), Eliza, 11 (drums and vocals) and Roxie, 16 (Piano, bass and vocals).Formed in elementary school, the girls, along with a childhood friend, began making up and recording funny songs about bugs and old people. After the eldest sibling Roxie departed, deeming the band “too childish,” the groups songwriting seemingly matured overnight when Lucy penned a heartfelt song called Sisterhood. The songs kept coming, prompting Roxie to rejoin the band, making it the solid trio it is today."
They are a middle school version of Oasis. See them now before you're stuck seeing Roxie Abernathy's High Flying Birds.

i worry about what happened to the childhood friend.
Maybe he'll come out with Hundred Waters for a feature.
Though I'd definitely prefer this alternative, he does also have a feature on Macklemore's new album. I really didn't want to go to his set buy now I might have to

These stealth adds are cool and all, but they really could've added like one or two more bands of somewhat familiarity. I'm gonna show up at the Which stage after PJ in hopes that Chance will appear and turn it into a magical coloring book experience.

You're gonna be so disappointed when it turns out to just be Radiohead.
