Yeah, I was mainly being sarcastic. But....in the last 5 years, only once was there a Friday/Saturday night that Roo didn't have an act playing Which Stage at midnight or later (2012, the night Radiohead played).
As noted earlier, it would be hard to imagine that if Roo did have this up their sleeves that they wouldn't market the fuck out of it to boost ticket sales.

Well, all the prophets of Rage shows so far (a whopping 3 of them) were announced the night before or day-of. And ticket sales were all box office cash only type deals. Guerilla affairs.
There was an interview with Morello and Wilk and they mentioned festivals this summer. It caught my interest because they're not scheduled at any fests. I wouldn't be surprised to see a surprise show announced for Roo, I also have to believe they'll l most def be added to Riot Fest.

At this point in time I don't know if an addition of them would skyrocket last minute sales! I fee they would announce the day before or two days before.Bonnaroo has shown this year they dropped the ball. I can't think of a better way to reward those in attendance! I know it's not going to actually happen but I would be stoked for it!

Both were replacements. Jack Johnson for Mumford and Jimmy Buffett for Iko something that was already playing with buffetts band but had visa issues and didn't have the time to rehearse more

Buffet actually didn't replace anyone -- he just came out and did like half the set with Ilo & the Coral Reefer All Stars
EIther Chance is on the Which late night or he's in the Superjam, either way he will be playing in some musical fashion.
