Bonnaroo sized hole in June; Nashville date in September.
Note- no NYC or Chicago shows which tilts the scale towards Lolla and Panorama I guess. Would assume that if he plays those fests he will still return in October/November to those cities. He wouldn't festival those cities and Nashville market gets two shows. But this would assume he plays Bonnaroo.
Opinions?
that is actually a bonnaroo sized hole there, but I think it's much more likely it's time for him to rest after coming back from Europe. Would be a really lovely booking but I'm not counting on it.
I agree with you. Probably more of a rest period, plus I doubt the Nashville market gets two shows out of this.

Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
That's rather harsh. The first album was pretty good, and the second wasn't as good, that being said both times I've seen them at Roo they have put on a fun show. I would be just fine with seeing them back on the farm. It's not like there's a ton of quality in this lineup right now...

I never said they were terrible or anything.
But if we only get a few adds, I would extremely disappointed for one of the spots to go to a band like GroupLove - they're pretty fun and high energy, sure, but not unique whatsoever. And that's what this lineup is lacking right now - unique/intriguing acts

That makes sense. I guess I'm just going with the thought that I'll hope for a band or two that I like to add depth instead of expecting anything special.

Borns and X Ambassadors are basically Grouplove and they're already on the lineup

I don't know enough about either of them. I've heard a couple Borns songs and X Ambassadors two singles. To me, from what I've heard of X Ambassadors they sound nothing like Grouplove, if anything they remind me of an Imagine Dragons knock off. I would need to pay more attention to the Borns songs I've heard before I could comment on that.

Neither of those acts sound anything like Grouplove.
I would be surprised if the Arcs aren't one of the additions. Just announced as an add for Forecastle. Currently have dates through april, so would imagine more dates coming to for May-July. Maybe got them to sign on for both Roo and Forecaste.

M. Ward announced he is playing in Louisville on June 12th and pretty much every Louisville concert right around/during Bonnaroo are artists who come or are going to Bonnaroo so I think it would be logical he is added to the lineup.

They opened up the which stage on Sunday last year. Not sure they would be a visitor this year.
Love this band though and would welcome them back.
Side note about them. my buddy (program director at a station in KC) is the one who got them signed on their current label. story goes he was back stage during one of the stations shows and someone showed him a youtube video of MWMB. at the time it only had like 500 views. he then sent the link to his buddy at glassnote and they were signed within that week.

You're talking about Madisen Ward and The Mama Bear.
This is about M. Ward, he's in She and Him, Monsters of Folk and has a solo career.
