Music Midtown: 2011 Bonnaroo: 2012 - 2016 Forecastle: 2013 Rock al Parque: 2014 420 Fest: 2014-2018 Shaky Knees: 2015 - 2019, 2021 Seen tons of local shows since 2004.
I highlighted acts in blue that are changes from Bart's schedule.
Biggest change is moving Dead & Co to Saturday and Pearl Jam to Sunday, because I really really feel like this is how it's going to go down. Moved Ween to LN after Dead & Co. because that's how it needs to happen.
Shuffled a few other acts around and tweaked some times some. I don't totally like the schedule, something about it is bugging me I can't put my finger on.
My god this mock is hard af. Most of the artists I wanna see are on Friday! I'm not sure whether I like that or not though. My schedule would look like this: Thurs: Roman GianArthur > Vulfpeck Fri: Kurt Vile > Blood Orange > (get in pit line for LCD and miss FJM/M83 which is the most painful) > LCD > Tame Impala Sat: Chicano Batman > Allen Stone > Kamasi Washington > Claypool Lennon Delirium > Dead and Co. (first set) > Superjam Sun: Civil Twilight > Mavis Staples > Band of Horses > Death Cab for Cutie > Pearl Jam
17 shows. Man I need to start knowing more bands.
see this is what happens when I tweak a schedule a bit to my tastes, inevitably its going to destroy someone else's plans.

So much power!! I bet whoever makes Bonnaroo schedules gets a kick outta this

Still a work in progress, but first attempt at a clashfinder here
nice work. tons and tons of conflicts for me but its a sensible schedule.
i'm pretty much counting on lcd > tame impala friday and dead & co > ween saturday. seems lots of others are assuming the same, i hope it works out this way with no conflict.

Yeah I would be pretty surprised if it wasn't LCD>tame and Dead>Ween.
The conflicts really are tough, you really see how thin this lineup is when making a mock. There just aren't a lot of good acts to fill out the tents/stages.
Look like M83 is playing on Friday. I wonder if they set the schedule up as:
M83 Which 9:15 - 10:30 --> Pearl Jam What 10:30 - 12:30. That would suck, for me at least.
Tame Impala also on Friday. Which means that spot is probably likely for M83, regardless of who the Friday headliner is. I'm just banking on seeing M83 at Gov Ball, so I don't have to be too upset when I can't see them at Roo

I would prefer that so so much over M83 going directly into LCD. I'm not gonna try to get pit for Pearl Jam, so getting to What a few minutes late for PJ wouldn't distress me much.
But I honestly doubt PJ will be Friday; it'll almost certainly be LCD that night, right?
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

We really don't have a lot of clarity on what night each headliner is playing other than that comment from Ween that Dead & Company are opening for them. If that's true, dead & company has to be Friday or Saturday. Meaning Pearl Jam is closing Sunday.

Yeah really I'd say the only sure thing right now is that LCD won't be on Sunday.
I'm about to start a clashfinder so I'll try to switch things up a bit with headliners. Hopefully I'll have it finished for y'all by tomorrow.

This one is probably the one I get to see the most artists I know already, which is great. I'm hating that m83 lcd and tame are all starting to show up on the same day. Not a fan but what can you do?
Thurs: Roman GianArthur > Kamasi Washington > Vulfpeck (amazing thursday already) Fri: Civil Twilight > Father John Misty > Claypool Lennon Delirium > LCD (pit) > Tame Impala Sat: Mavis Staples > Blood Orange > Nathaniel Rateliff (or Tyler the Creator) > Dead and Co. > Miguel > Superjam Sun: Allen Stone > Kurt Vile > Lord Huron > Band of Horses > Leon Bridges > Pearl Jam
This schedule has me seeing 20 artists already, fucking awesome.
Edit: I think this lineup would be perfect if J. Cole and LCD were switched with Dead and Co.

My dear god, if I was going and this was the schedule, I'd be livid. There are only like 6 hard decisions for me, but those six all include my favorite bands on the lineup. The worst for me would be having to skip M83 for LCD pit and then I'd also have a terrible spot for Tame Impala.
So this isn't perfect, but I was largely setting out to see if there was a way to avoid the impending LCD/Tame Impala/M83 conflict and I did it. Probably the biggest issue here is that Ellie Goulding's tour dates would seem to suggest Saturday not Sunday, which would mean LCD would have to be Friday. Had to work around more conflicts than I was expecting, and that ones that are still there for me aren't too tough to decide
Anyways, let me know your thoughts. Still might change some things around.

EDIT: Obviously some of this is pretty unlikely, but I just wanted to believe in a world where Roo would give Kamasi a 90 minute set on Thursday night
The other is the smallest tent, a lot of the acts you have placed in there such as Two Door Cinema Club, and M83 would not be there. Neither would Tyler. I wonder why most people are guessing that Kamasi would be on Thurs instead of a main day, by the time Roo rolls around people will definitely know who he is. St. Lucia have already played Roo, and won't be on a Thurs. Misterwives wouldn't be on Thurs either. Friday seems like it'll most certainly be LCD-Tame-M83, because The Dead starting the fest the same night as Tame and M83, is way too similar IMO. But who knows.

As you yourself admitted this schedule isn't totally realistic, but I like that you are getting creative with it. It's worth it to propose something a little different, after all the actual schedule rarely ends up exactly like we think it will.
Miscellaneous observations:
-Kamasi closing Thursday with a 90 minute set would be glorious -I like that you didn't try to cram all the EDM acts into late night (Adventure Club closing a tent, RL Grime closing a tent). Don't care that much about Adventure Club but it would be nice to be able to catch RL Grime without sacrificing another LN option -I think this is the first mock I've seen with Clutch > Lamb of God in a LN tent, which is weird because this makes a lot of sense. -I too kind of feel like M83 will be on the Which in some capacity, but who knows. -Partial conflict of Ween and LCD is terrible for me, but its helpful to see it because inevitably the real schedule will have something terrible. Best to prepare myself

The only day that has any real conflicts is that Friday night. That can't be right.

Whats with the fetish of overlapping which closers with the headliners? This is your dreamworld. Have m83 close which right before lcd, then tame start 15 mins after lcd ends on which. Let us think happy thoughts for a couple months.

Things get complicated when we start envisioning how the potential dual headliner J. Cole/LCD thing will go. Last year Kendrick conflicted with Ben Harper on Which, while Deadmau5 conflicted with EWF on Which and Flying Lotus in the Other, not to mention pieces of Odesza and STS9.
A one headliner situation is a bit easier, like Mumford last year only conflicted with Tycho in a tent, which is actually a totally reasonable conflict.
So we could make mocks that help us think happy thoughts, or make mocks to prepare ourselves for Bonnaroo's terrible scheduling reality. I enjoy looking at both, but ultimately think the latter is more productive mentally and emotionally.
Actually this just made me think, what about a situation where LCD plays before J. Cole on the What? With J. Cole taking the later deadmau5 set? Then put Tame Impala on LN Which.
People who think Papadosio will play anything but a night time slot are high off their ass.
Edit: They will probably get Dopapod's spot from last year.
Wasn't Dopapod at least partially during the day? It seems like I squeezed through the crowd lining the roads in front of That Tent during Dopapod while the sun was still out.

This is the smartest thing to do IMO. J. Cole is the more popular act, right now, of the two. Having him on at the same time as M83/Tame Impala would be better to break up crowds/create the best flow for people from one show to the next. I would assume many people that see LCD would also like to see Tame/M83 (as has been stated in this thread). This would obviously be best case scenario for them.
That being said, it's not as if Roo has never done this either (Wonder into Jay Z).

Sunset That Tent, which to me is night time to me. It got dark about 15 minutes into their set which is the more appropriate setting for their music. I saw them at Catskill Chill this year and it was at like 5 pm and it was fucking stupid because they aren't the type of band to play that early.

I hope they get the STS9 late night until sunrise spot. It would suck if they got a 45 minute set like Dopapod. I hope they get a full 90 minutes at night. Closing a tent Thursday would be another good spot for them.

Trust me that's what I want as well, but I think Lettuce will take that spot as they have the bigger draw.

I am too lazy to go and try to remember where it was stated, but I thought that someone said that LCD was going to be in the Deadmau5 spot.
