Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
This is the smartest thing to do IMO. J. Cole is the more popular act, right now, of the two. Having him on at the same time as M83/Tame Impala would be better to break up crowds/create the best flow for people from one show to the next. I would assume many people that see LCD would also like to see Tame/M83 (as has been stated in this thread). This would obviously be best case scenario for them.
That being said, it's not as if Roo has never done this either (Wonder into Jay Z).
I am too lazy to go and try to remember where it was stated, but I thought that someone said that LCD was going to be in the Deadmau5 spot.
Yeah I remember it being said too that its going to be J Cole > LCD. Hopefully someone finds out what night each headliner will be, that will help a lot of other things fall into place better.

Eh, I don't know what that would sort out. The thought of Ellie Goulding or Macklemore opening for PJ is just as weird as the thought of either of them opening for Dead & Co, but it's pretty much guaranteed one of those will happen, and I'd guess Death Cab opens for the other. Ellie and Halsey are both playing Saturday, which I'd guess means Haim are playing Sunday. I don't really hold any stock in the "Ween opening for the Dead" thing, but I do think they'll be LN on Saturday, and the Dead could play that night as well.
Friday night is going to be a clusterfuck with LCD, Tame, M83, and CHVRCHES all supposedly playing. They should have put M83 or Tame LN Which on Saturday, but I guess that would make too much sense
So this isn't perfect, but I was largely setting out to see if there was a way to avoid the impending LCD/Tame Impala/M83 conflict and I did it. Probably the biggest issue here is that Ellie Goulding's tour dates would seem to suggest Saturday not Sunday, which would mean LCD would have to be Friday. Had to work around more conflicts than I was expecting, and that ones that are still there for me aren't too tough to decide
Anyways, let me know your thoughts. Still might change some things around.
EDIT: Obviously some of this is pretty unlikely, but I just wanted to believe in a world where Roo would give Kamasi a 90 minute set on Thursday night
The other is the smallest tent, a lot of the acts you have placed in there such as Two Door Cinema Club, and M83 would not be there. Neither would Tyler. I wonder why most people are guessing that Kamasi would be on Thurs instead of a main day, by the time Roo rolls around people will definitely know who he is. St. Lucia have already played Roo, and won't be on a Thurs. Misterwives wouldn't be on Thurs either. Friday seems like it'll most certainly be LCD-Tame-M83, because The Dead starting the fest the same night as Tame and M83, is way too similar IMO. But who knows.
Agree about the Other, was just kind of choosing tents arbitrarily. But to be fair, Frank Ocean was in the other and was billed 10th, M83 is 9th.
I just want Kamasi to play at night, so that was my way of doing it with the least conflicts. Also not sure how much more popular he'll be getting before Roo. Plus Thursday acts aren't exclusively unknown or new acts. We had Mac Demarco, Tove Lo, and Courtney Barnett last year and White Denim in 2014.
I'm working on another mock though, because I'm bored as shit right now

I don't remember seeing this, but if that statement is correct, couldn't it still be like Lionel into Jack White in 2014 (Jack White not being LN)?
Very impressive man, this would be my only suggestion to make it even closer to plausibility.
I think if you moved Leon Bridges before J. Cole on What, moved M83 into the This, and then Chvrches as pre-headliner on Which during J. Cole. Then move Big Grams on the Which before Chrvches. It would split up crowds nicely.
If LCD and Pearl jam could be switched, this would be the perfect lineup so far. Thurs: Con Brio > Papadosio > Daughter > The Floozies > Blood Orange > Kamasi Washington Fri: Civil Twilight > Steve Gunn > Kurt Vile > M83 > LCD > Tame Impala Sat: Vulfpeck > Cymande > Allen Stone > Nathaniel Rateliff & TNS > The Claypool Lennon Delirium > Pearl Jam > Superjam Sun: Mavis Staples > Dungen > Father John Misty > Death Cab for Cutie > Dead and Co.
I honestly can't see Blood Orange before Kamasi even thou that would be amazing. I can see it happening the other way around which I still will enjoy thoroughly
Edit: This schedule has 24 artists I can see fully. Thats freakin awesome
Music Midtown: 2011 Bonnaroo: 2012 - 2016 Forecastle: 2013 Rock al Parque: 2014 420 Fest: 2014-2018 Shaky Knees: 2015 - 2019, 2021 Seen tons of local shows since 2004.

You and I would have very similar schedules.
Thurs: Con Brio > Lizzo > Papadosio > Oh Wonder > Bully > Blood Orange Kamasi Fri: Anderson East > Steve Gunn/Ibeyi > Lucius > second half of Kurt Vile > M83 > LCD > Tame Impala Sat: Vulfpeck > Cymande > Jason Isbell > Band of Horses > chill/ get a good spot for > Pearl Jam > Superjam > Lettuce Sun: The London Souls > Mavis Staples > Dungen > Father John Misty > Death Cab > Dead and Co.
This mock is way too nice to me so it will probably be nothing like this. But I would be very happy with this scenario, especially since it would let me see M83 and Tame Impala and let me get into the LCD pit. Only things I really don't like are Cymande/Natalie Prass/Hundred Waters and CHVRCHES/Purity Ring/Big Grams. Good job.

That'd be nice, but that would involve having connections and convincing bands to play Bonnaroo instead of doing some European tour or something. But as far as scheduling, inforoo could do a much better job at that. Just tell us who has to play which days and who can't go on at certain times because of their tour schedule. But we'd do a much better job than what Bonnaroo usually does
Dead & Co. has a show in Charlotte Friday June 10, next show in Cincinnati Thursday June 16. This confirms what we expected, they'll either be Saturday or Sunday.
Not that I expect this, but I'm glad both nights are open, because it means it is at least possible some member of Dead & Co. participates in the Superjam.
May Tycho May Phoenix June Rooo July MMJ and Margo Price August Queen with Adam Lambert August Roger Waters (Bucket list #1) August Spoon and Portugal the man Sept Depeche Mode Sept Pilgrimage Fest
Hopefully this means they were kind enough to space out LCD, Tame Impala, and M83 enough that people can easily make it to all three and see the entire set of each of those artists
Wasn't sure to post this in mocks or confirm thread but I find the shuttle schedule strange this year.
Thursday shuttles- for the first time I think?
Friday- last departure time is 5 am
Saturday- last departure 2 am ?WTF?
Sunday- last departure 1 am
This is off the website; I guess Saturday late night will be thin. Friday Late night could get rowdy.
Does this have any bearing on the schedule?
That Saturday time is a bummer if true.
Yeah. The real confusing part is that I assume (I've never used one so idk for sure) that they'd make the final shuttle quite a while after the shows were finished to ensure people had time to make it to the shuttle to leave. So, while 2 am would be quite early to end the music, I have to assume that if the LAST shuttle leaves at 2, music would have to be done by 1
Wow music ending at 1am??? What is this Coachella? Saturdays are usually the longest nights for me...so many painful walks back to camp at 5am every year. Now I'm disappointed.
Edit: oh wait 1am is for Sunday...Saturday is 2am....but still...damn

No but the last shuttle LEAVES at 2 am for Saturday night - music ending at 1 on Sat. would be such a low blow, wow.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

Like that's not even enough time for a superjam....unless they put it on Friday??

Superjam isn't always late night. The Dan Auerbach and Dr John Superjam was a tent closer and from my understanding some early ones were the same(I've been going since 08, so don't have any specifics from 07 and earlier).
Also weren't the shuttles originally scheduled to leave early last year or in 14 then got pushed back? I've always camped so never paid a ton of attention to shuttles times, so I might be wrong
