They just sent out an email that gave the dates of this year's festival, but no word on location yet. The site that was used the last two years may be in some stage of demolition at the time of the festival, so it's TBD currently:
Happy New Year! It has been a while since we last sent out a newsletter. Lets get right into it... The dates for this year's FYF Fest are August 27th and 28th and watching the recap video above is getting us excited to share another weekend with you this summer.

Yeahhhhh, do it! It's a great smaller fest with a satisfying lineup! The location has always been downtown with easy access to public transit, so you can stay pretty much wherever you want to in LA and get there cheaply. They usually have shows pop up around town on the dates before/after the fest and sometimes even for after-shows, too

Last year had one of my favorite festival lineups period, especially after Kanye got booked. How can you beat Kanye, D'Angelo, FKA twigs, Bonobo, Nicolas Jaar, Dixon, Fly Lo, Jon Hopkins, SMD, BBNG, Morrissey, RTJ, etc.?
$199 this year. It doesn't usually sell out until closer to the fest.
