It didn't, I don't think it usually does. Especially now that it's at the larger venue. It'll be interesting to see if the demo of the sports arena will lower capacity.
Ok. So here's the deal. My aunt has offered to fly me out to visit for free in the past. I couldn't do it, so it's been "rain checked" for whenever I want to come out. This is the weekend after school starts, so I'm not sure if be too fucked if I took the weekend to go out of state. Depending on my schedule I could do like a Thurs-Tues visit, spend Sat/Sun in LA and then Thurs, Fri / Mon, Tues with the family.
I gotta double check with my aunt about the flight, and maybe convince my friend to come & I'll stay with her. But this is a distinct possibility for this year. Time will tell.

Sorry I'm sure this was brought up earlier, but how are ticket sales for this fest? Do I need to be on top of this Friday morning, or will I have no problem picking up a weekend pass like a month from now?

I think you'll have no problem, but there's always a risk. I don't think it's sold out since they moved to the larger venue a couple years ago.

That'd be like 1 1/2 - 2 hours away from the fest, I think it wouldn't be worth the $ saved. But if it's the only way you can do the fest, go for it!

Not worth it, that's supper far and LA traffic is always bad. Try getting somewhere along the expo like further away from downtown if you want to save some money, I believe it goes all the way to Culver City
