Tame are playing in Montreal on 6/12, so I have to assume they'll be on Friday of Roo. I just can't see them playing LN Saturday and then going up for a show in Canada. I suppose it's possible though
that's definitely logical. i was just sitting here watching this Lowlands 2015 performance and was thinking how rad it would be to see Tame Impala after Dead & Co. But I just don't see Dead & Co playing Friday.
anyway saturday has to be dead & co > motherfucking ween. has to be.

I want Tame after the Dead too. Mostly because Dead are the headliner I'm most ok with leaving early. I've seen them before and haven't seen PJ or LCD, and I have to imagine those two will end their sets with a bang. Can Roo please put a 10-15 minute gap between headliner and Tame??
Rihanna's cover of Tame Impala from her new album was pretty solid! Didn't know where else to discuss this at haha. Anyone else hear it yet?
Kevin Parker's about to get PAID.
The real crime in all of this is that I don't think they play this live, and I'm hoping rih rih turns it popular enough to change that. Sound reasoning.
The Tame Impala cover is the worst song on her album.
(in my opinion)
Hah we have very differing views, it was was one of the only songs I liked. I love Rihanna but I'm never very into her music, I just like her as a person.
yeah, I was expecting it to be pretty different so I really can't say if I 'like' it or not since basically nothing changed. Her vocal performance on it is fine, though.

I think with Ellie and Halsey set for Sat at Roo based on the inforoo Roo schedule confirmation thread, LCD(What)-Tame(which) seems more likely for Friday.
I think it could actually go.
J. Cole (8:30-10:00) What slightly unopposed vs Chvrches or M83(Which) 8:45-10:00)
LCD (11:00-1:00) What vs Chainsmokers (11:30-1:00) Which

Yeah I'd hoped it would be more different, she sounded pretty though!

Looks like you're right! They closed their show with it last night in France.

It was actually one of my favorites from Currents. Let it Happen, Eventually, Less I Know the Better, New Person, Same Mistakes
One of very few bands that actually plays almost the exact setlist that I would draw up for myself. Its why I don't really mind that they don't change it up.

I only started listening to Tame Impala around when Currents came out (a little after actually), so I wasn't necessarily as stoked for their LN set as everyone else until I looked at their setlists. In a perfect world I'd add a few more songs from their first album and Be Above It from Lonerism, but with the addition of Brand New Person Same Old Mistakes I definitely agree. My favorites from Currents were the four you said and Yes I'm Changing. Gonna be an awesome show!

the two im upset about are solitude and half glass... I dont understand how half glass full of wine goes from set closer to never played.
Easily a top 5 of the weekend. I'm still a little salty they just played their normal set. Glad I did not leave LCD early like my friends wanted me too.
Lets get this conversation going. Not sure where to start though.
They followed LCD and werent as good They played on the most infuriating stage known to man They ended 30 minutes early and played their normal set
Yet it will still end up in my top 5 just because I love their songs and they played them well enough. Also confetti
well, if you were in the back (which if you were coming from LCD, you most definitely were) it was so... lame. no dancing, no singing, nothing. everyone surrounding me was passed out asleep, standing completely still, or having conversations over the music. the confetti was awesome, and the setlist was pretty great. them playing daffodils was a nice surprise! but yeah, it was just kinda depressing having listened to them just after what may very well be the best show i've ever witnessed. them ending more than 30 minutes early just put me in an even worse mood. i was expecting some lonerism favorites thrown in there, but no such luck. they sounded great, and the lights were dope. i just wasn't as impressed as i was with their shaky knees show.

my crew absolutely sprinted from LCD to tame. We got a decent spot but your complaints about the crowd still existed where I was. Luckily, I have a very large group and we go crazy at every high energy show regardless of what's going on around us. The people around us seemed determined to not enjoy life. Some were angry at our dancing and rowdiness, and nobody moved a fucking muscle. This wasnt true of other shows and im not sure what the variable was.
