The only problem i had with this show was how on like 10 of the songs Kevin Parker would say the title of the song as the band had already started playing.
Not sure what people were expecting from this set, I sure as hell wish I was there for this one. Do you really want to listen to two to three hours of Tame Impala? God no. 90 minutes is the perfect amount of time to get baked, relax and enjoy their music.
To anyone surprised that people weren't "energetic".....wut? It's Tame Impala. I'm usually the first person to get annoyed with an apathetic crowd, but I'd be the dude chilling on the grass towards the back for this set 100%. Not even sure how you'd sing along with most of their songs, it'd just sound stupid.

I do want two hours of Tame Impala, as scheduled. I would never want to lay in the back of the Which field for one of their sets Tame Impala has played extremely energetic sets in the past, and have many energetic songs. And you can very easily sing along to almost all of their songs.

We must have different standards for energetic.
Tame Impala have very strong melodies and understandable lyrics, especially on the Currents material, not sure why you couldn't sing along. I mean Rihanna covered one of their songs and didn't change a thing. They're pretty much just pop songs. And stuff like "Elephant" or "Half Full Glass of Wine" or "Alter Ego" are basically 21st century classic rock songs.
The Slow Rush leaked in 320. It's dope. The new Borderline is an improvement imo and this'll be a fun, colorful set. I loved Lonerism but he's also really really good and this psychedelic pop sound.
