Just watched Jay Electronica get shut down for telling the audience to rush the stage, that looked insane. I respect they guy for performing how he feels and wanting to be close to the audience, but that's just not a good idea telling everyone to rush the stage. As soon as he started telling people to get on stage I knew his show was going to get cut. As an artist he should have seen that coming too.
He did that at III Points too, but the stage was inside and organizers just let him do whatever.
I have to say in my 3 years attending this festival Sunday was the most fun I've had. The crowd was really young but I had no issues short of some d-bag running to a stage and knocking a full beer out of my hand. I was able to get a good spot for every set and didn't see any issues anywhere. Didn't even come across the usual people trying to barge through a packed crowd. The grounds were noticeably bigger than when I went in 2014 and navigating was a breeze. I even popped over to the EDM stage for a little bit a had a good time, no idea who played though.
As for the music the sound quality here is probably the best i have encountered at any festival, always top notch. Overall adage production seemed improved too. Only issue I had was the bass for Banks and Steelz was the heaviest I've ever felt and it's not even close. Had to move to the back in order to enjoy it more. Gary Clark was amazing but Chance stole the show for me, he was everything o hopep for and more!
Watching Tory Lanez right now on the livestream replay and this is embarrassing. Dude thus far hasn't rapped a single bar once.

I don't know who he is but stopped by the set and it was just awful. However, he went into a little Philly RnB throwback session for a minute and the guy had a voice on him, I couldn't believe it, seriously impressive. He should prob look to change genres.

Thoughts about this year, lineup was top heavy for my interests, so I went in at around 4-5 each day:
Better run than last year, took a couple extra minutes to get in, but wristbands and a little extra security were good. Those mobile beer carts (not vendor stands) are an absolute mess and should never come back. I need to see Jamie xx again. Was pleasantly surprised by Rihanna and Coldplay. Last year felt so crowded walking between stages, this year felt perfect. Wasn't my favorite festival I've ever been to, but was really good value.
Enjoyed this thing even though I was not the demo. For the stuff that interested me most, white dudes with guitars there was like no one at the stages. Which made me realize I am not in the cool club I guess but was a great way to get front row ticket to a bunch of bands I like at minimal effort. In all honesty with the demo they have I if anyone was walking around and taking notes they would just say screw it, no Aaron West, Basement, Touche Amore, or anything of that ilk at all. Waste of a timeslot/stage. But I hope they don't cause worked for me.
Crowd way into selfies for me but all in all I thought this was a fun fest, and easy for me to get to. Wish I had gone before and would go again. I have to say since I saw it to camp for Coldplay, Chance the Rapper is an actual talent. I don't mind being impressed from outside my genre. Also, Carseat Headrest. I am a fan.

WILL CALL was the worst line I ever waited in my life. The line was around the corner and down an entire city block. I got about halfway and said fuck this and walked back up to the corner and made some friends in like the middle of the line. I still waited 2 hours and once I finally got up to the "Box Office" a guy asked me "1 day or 2 day?" as I tried pulling my confirmation shiz out I said 2 day. Guy just hands me two paper bracelets and says "Here, red saturday, black sunday. Next."
Moral of the story is I waited two hours for paper I could of printed out and paid $200 for something that could of been free.
