They were the first band I shot from a photo pit at Catskill Chill 2011. Also I needed to draft a band that I've drank with (Mtn Jam 2011 3 of the 6)
In addition to killer originals, their covers also kick ass.

If i start a Build a Band draft (drafting singer, guitar player, bass player, drummer....) upon the conclusion of this draft, would people be interested? Or are there too many draft related things going on?

At first I was gonna pick Fleet Foxes, but then I realized they'd be a little redundant with Simon and Garfunkel holding down the folk-y white guys spot on this squad.
Then I thought I'd grab a more traditional type rock band and go with Deep Purple. But I wanted something a little fresher than that on a squad with only one other band that is currently active.
Instead I'm gonna go with an up and coming, legends-in-the-making type of act. Give me that real bad guy shit.
I'll take Run The Jewels with the final pick of the draft.
This has been fun! Have we decided on how the voting process will work? I think it would be cool if anyone who wanted to weigh in could, but I also understand keeping the voting limited to the participants. Win or not, I'm rather happy with my squad.
I don't know how much interest there is in more rounds here.

I don't know these last rounds have been going really slowly so I'm not sure theres much intereste left. Also I think allot of us would have drafted differently if we knew there were more rounds to go. Maybe people could just be allowed to add bands to their teams that are not exclusive to fix that itch of getting more bands. What we drafted are the exclusive acts only we get and everything else not drafted is free for anyone to add, maybe another 6 or so bands ass to be "subs" to our drafted "headliners"
