Iron and Wine is just the name that Sam Beam performs under. If you went to see Iron and Wine and it was just him on stage with a guitar you wouldn't be confused. By comparison, if you went to see Metallica and it was just Lars Ulrich playing drums, you might feel as though you'd gotten ripped off. (Or you might not, this isn't about your taste in music do no need to make a snarky comment - I just woke up!)
I wasn't sure what to do with Prince and the Revolution. If you Google Prince and the Revolution you get listings for The Revolution, a band featuring Prince. Though it's largely feels like a solo act, that he later disbanded it and released a solo album (Sign O The Times), I think we should allow it.
Plus, someone else made a pick already and I don't need this controversy playing itself out in the press.

Disagree on Jimi. It was always Jimi Hendrix Experience or Jimi Hendrix and the Band of Gypsies to my knowledge. Not sure on Prince

I thought it made sense and that's why I specifically asked about Grace Potter and the Nocturnals before anyone made a pick. The Jimi Hendrix Experience was even specifically called a band before the game began.
