108,000.. Good for them hitting that Coachella, Lollapalooza level. Looks like they have actually been losing money the past few years too. So this is huge for them.
Coachella only sold 99k tickets last year; no way this fest has 10% higher attendance than Coachella
Maybe. Doesn't say if its an aggregate number. It does take place over 15 city blocks though.
I'd say def over 3 days, the main stage area would struggle to fit 50k for a show.
I love that this fest is succeeding. They do such an amazing job of creating year-round art in the downtown Vegas area. It really shows people that downtown is set being revitalized.

The attendance is definitely cumulative over 3 days. Last year's total attendance was 137,350 (or about 45-46k per day) and it didn't sell out. For it to grow from 29k per day (in 2014) to selling out in 3 yrs is great to see.
Fucking hell, went to the ticket page to see how much tickets are and they add $70 in fees.
I could stomach the service fee from Ticketfly but that ridiculous 9% Nevada "live entertainment tax" is b.s. Thanks, Nevada!

Snagged a ticket before it sold out. First time in vegas to so I'm excited to get out there. Not really use to city fest, anyone know how late the sets usually go into the night?

I've never been, but I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that music goes till 1am.

Got VIP tix today. That fee did suck but really looking forward to my first Vegas trip and this fest! Also really glad didn't wait around because my group did talk about waiting til next week for Austin but we decided let's go on and make a Vegas trip regardless since the lineup is great anyways.
Their social media has mentioned that they will be selling single day tickets once the daily lineups are released.
Where was this?
Sorry, kinda moot now since they announced single day info coming tomorrow but it was on their facebook in replies to fans' questions as well as replies on twitter.

Friday and Sunday are stacked, Saturday looks like I'll be showing up late. Hoping I can see all these:
Friday - Chance, Lorde, Blink, Two Door Cinema Club, Dreamcar, Day Wave Saturday - Muse, Cage, Schoolboy, Tycho, Local Natives Sunday - GORILLAZ, the xx, mgmt, haim, pusha t, de la soul, vince staples
Saw this. Full line up? Those days are fully enough!
Yeah they're missing about six artists they confirmed my post on Facebook when I asked. They're missing one "big name from last years lineup style when they announced Empire of the Sun. Hopefully it's QOTSA and not 30STM who's touring with Muse and Pvris who are both on the lineup already.

QOTSA would be an awesome get or Choldish Gambino. Also for additions would personally like Incubus and saw where Brandon Boyd's art will be for sale. Would also like added if possible: Logic, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Nightsweats, Run the Jewels, and Cold War Kids,

So far Day by day looks nice! Hoping the xx and Gorillaz don't conflict but if so Gorillaz for the win! Pretty nice to see Vince Staples, Pusha T, and De La Soul all billed Sunday as I was hoping too!
For those who have been before, do they usually have headliners conflict at this?
They usually overlap a bit but you'd be able to catch at least 30-50 min of the main headliner after the other headliner closes the secondary stage. Main headliner finishes around 12:45-1:00am while the secondary headliner finishes anywhere between 11:30pm-12:15am.
Here's a link to the 2015 daily schedule just so you have an idea.

When were the additions released relative to when the lineup was originally released?
First 3 years, additions were a month after original release. Last year was two months after release.

Are people normally ok with that? If theyre really adding another big name artist I would be pissed if I bought a day pass and they ended up being someone I really wanted to see on a different day. I guess the % of people that happens to is small though.
Die Antwoord played last year and they have an August Vegas date for their upcoming tour.

The daily lineups always came out after the additions before, usually about a month before the festival. This year's came out super quick so not sure how people will react. Although one line of thinking is that the additions are just a bonus on top of the day you bought. I reckon the amount of people that were on the fence for a specific day and have the additional act be the one that makes them buy a single day pass for that day is very small.

What is the crowd normally like? Is it safe to expect a bunch of HS idiots shoving their way to the front of shows right when they start? Or are the people more laid back?
