I have the spot smack dab in the middle, so there will always be 17 picks in between my own picks, instead of something like 2 and then 32. If anyone in the 1-4 spots would like to trade their draft order with me in order to even out their picks, I will gladly oblige.

For clarity sake, should we make our posts something like this:
Singer: xxxx Guitar: xxxx Bass: Drum: Etc:
And bold is our pick, so as to keep a sort of running tally? May help to keep things organized and clear. But maybe too complicated, what do ya think?
I will have everyone's team list updated in the original post. That should give everyone easy access to their, or anyone else's team. Do you think posting a running tally like you've mentioned would be more clear than that?
To fix my mistake in the most fair to everyone way i've pulled a random number from the internet, and it gave me 12 sorry again about not including your name. Everyone from pick 12-18 will be pushed one back. Sorry for the brief confusion.

Last pick in the draft.... I actually kinda like that.
Although I'm probably not gonna get the one guy that I really wanted. Getting back to back picks will make it easier to plan out what kind of band I want to make.

Yeah that double pick could be pretty good for you.

so when are we starting this? also, are people going to be taking acts based on cohesiveness with other acts theyve selected, or are people just taking the best available at each position?

Personally, I'm going for cohesiveness. I'm going to try to pick a group of people that I think would make a really interesting sound.

thats what i was thinking about doing. will look better during voting.

Technically we started it 3 hours ago, but a revision had to be made so lets say it starts at midnight central time. jackwagon starts, and hasn't been online for the evening. That will give him tomorrow to see it.
You can draft however you want. I would think the voters would be drawn to a band that you could picture playing together, but who knows.
Edit: Midnight happened while i was typing this jackwagon is on the clock
I am currently not sober and do not trust myself to make the number one pick right now. I will attempt this as soon as I wake up in the morning. Goodnight.
Quick question:if you choose a multiontramentalist, can you assign them multiple roles such as vocals/lead guitar or horns/keys/backing vocals, etc? Or would they only be considered for the position they were drafted?

Multiple roles is good, but since you have to draft each of the main four positions they probably wouldn't be seen as the lead in both vocals and guitar by the voters. The misc. positions allow you a lot of freedom for multi instrumentalists like the horns/keys/backing vocals.
Just thought of another important question. Does the artist have to be living? I figure no since the bans draft allowed bands that are no longer together.

My avatar has been John Frusciante for years. You know my dream band can't not have him. Also, he regularly covers Bowie's Modern Love, so it's a match!
Vocals: David Bowie Guitar: John Frusciante Bass: Drummer: Other: Other:
