also, should we establish a rule that you can't select two members from the same band? because then it will just feel like a re-imagination of that band

Meh I'm for less rules, of that's what people want to use their picks on let em do it

We could make it a rule. I figured if anyone was really was going to do that they wouldn't get any votes do to a complete lack of imagination.

i mean its up to you i just think it'll be lame if someone who picks Robert Plant and John Bonham wins

I agree, less rules is better. Multiple people from the same band wouldn't be advised, but it shouldn't be illegal.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
alright with the 3rd pick in the draft ill take the single greatest guitarist of all time. Jimi Motherfucking hendrix.
God damnit, I was praying he would somehow make it to 5th... I'm having trouble figuring out who I'm gonna go with...
One nye thing I've really had to contemplate is the songwriting. Because the lyrics are a very important part of the true greatness of a band (most of the time) But, that isn't factored in in this drafting lineup we are using.
Also, I suggest, after the draft is over and the results are posted for voting, that each team owner have to create a short, concise description of their band's genre/style.

Thank you. I think your band should have to make some sort of sense. For example, if you've got Macca and Kirk Hammett in the same band what the fuck are you doing.
Merc was my #1 overall because he fits likr a glove with any band you wanna go with
That's why Bowie was my number one and Hendrix is a great pick because all you have to do is put together a stellar lineup for a classic rock band and you'll at least have a chance at winning
I'll take Prince, and have him play guitar. If I could have just said frontman this would have been a much easier decision.
Also you should totally watch this if you haven't before because it's incredible.
I nearly made this pick but it would've simply been for talent and not because I LOVE Prince like a lot of people (especially on Inforoo do.) Solid pick. I'm definitely going use the idea that bands can have other members do vocals from time to time, while still mainly functioning on an instrument

Quick question. Do we absolutely have to specify what position we are taking someone at? For instance, if you pick a guy who could be either the vocalist or guitar player with your first pick, could you just take him initially and then name what position he will occupy when you make your later picks?
