For the last pick in round one, I go with one of the greatest multiplayer games ever. Not only that but it laid the groundwork for console first person shooters. And had a damn fun single player campaign. One of my childhood favorites.
For the first pick in round two I will go with a game that is near and dear to my heart, and one that could likely be had with a late pick. But this game deserves all the recognition in the world. This game is the adult, thinking man's mario. Think of Mario with the ability to manipulate time, and puzzles centered around that concept. One of the most beautiful, metophoric, mind melting games with some of the greatest payoff for completing puzzles that I have ever felt. Everyone that has a PC or Xbox needs to pick this game up immediately.
Also, this game has an extremely powerful ending that I never saw coming. Don't look up spoilers, it completely ruins the fun.

It took me a while to decide between halo 1 and halo 2. Halo 2 was a multiplayer masterpiece and I will always remember it for that, but I have to give to nod to the one that started it all. Easily one of the best single player campaigns ever. Also home to many a crazy split screen system link game. On top of all that, it birthed my username abagofit which I use for basically everything.
I think we were all a bit surprised this wasn't the first one in the franchise to get picked. With my second pick Im taking what I see as the most fun entry of the gta series.

Not sure the ruling on this if I need one individual game or not, but I'm going to make my own ruling and take Generation 1 of Pokémon. Let me know if you guys don't agree with that. I don't think I should be able to draft the whole series (like Madden), however each game in a generation are pretty much the same. Objections?

I agree with your interpretation. The only reason you would need to draft all the madden games is because they're all so similar. However, with your draft I also think the "newer" red and green versions should also be off the table as it's the same game updated for the sp.

that makes sense too. so LeafGreen/FireRed, HeartGold/SoulSilver, Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire correspond to their respective originals?
