Oldchella has worked wonders for me, 3 Neil shows on the calendar with in 6 days. And my tickets for them were less then half of oldchella's shittiest tickets for 2 complete GA's and one GA pit.
I have 2 weekend one GA wristbands for sale if anyone is looking for some, or knows anyone looking for some. For what I paid when they went on sale, plus free shipping. Box & all the goodies, wristbands still in plastic. PM me if interested.

I totally understand, but it still makes me feel like this:
For anyone on the fence, secondary market ticket prices have completely bottomed out. Can score a 3-day GA pass for $280 on StubHub and a pit pass for half price (!!) if you're so inclined.
3-day passes now at $199. Pit passes for $699! One could easily grab a weekend pass AND camping for under $300, turning Desert Trip into the best value tickets of the summer. Thanks StubHub!!

holy shit, that went way lower than I ever thought imaginable le. So jealous everyone going. I'm super excited to see everyone's snaps tho! <3
Damn, 3-days just went down to $129, which was enough to make me check the price of flights to L.A. for next weekend....aaand nope, still staying on the east coast. This is gonna be an awesome time though for those who go.
Since inforoo ranks everything: My ranking of how excited I would be to see their set: 1. Waters 2. Neil 3. McCartney 4. Dylan 5. Stones 6. The Who
I love Bob but I've seen him many times and his voice is gone. Top two I haven't seen yet and damn those set lists for Roger are scrumptious.
Here's my ranking.
1. Neil - Always #1 for me. Will be my 21st Neil show. 2. Waters - The only 1 of the 6 I have never seen. Regretted missing The Wall show. I saw Pink Floyd 3 times but never with Waters. 3. The Who - I've always liked the Who over the Beatles and Stones. Just saw them in May and they were fantastic - best of any time seeing them since the '90s. 4. Rolling Stones - I saw them last year. It's amazing the shape Mick is in for his age. 5. Paul McCartney - Even at #5 of 6 on this list - still very much looking forward to him. 6. Dylan - I would have him number 2 on this list if it was favorite artists. But he just cannot sing any more and no longer plays guitar. Always has a top notch band with him, though.
So, this was pretty cool. Besides waking up with a cold Thursday morning & making most of my friends sick as well, we had a great time. GoldenVoice knows how to put on a festival.
Just returning home after a hell of a "trip" and I can safely say Desert Trip was hands down the best festival experience I've ever had. Completely flawless execution and a drop-dead gorgeous site. Waaaay more range in the crowd demographics than I thought there'd be. Pretty much every walk of life represented well.
The highlights: - the coolest ****ing stage I've ever seen. Massive and a high definition wonder. - AC bathrooms everywhere. Didn't touch a porto all weekend. - Roger Waters bringing his own quadraphonic sound system. There was laughter coming from behind you, helicopters flying over head and enough surprise sound effects to turn someone schizophrenic. If that doesn't trip you out I don't know what will. - the Neil/Paul day was the best musical one-two punch I've ever witnessed. I've never smiled wider than when Neil joined McCartney on stage to rock the **** out of "Why Don't We Do It In The Road?" - the Who being the loudest act of the weekend by FAR and Pete Townsend delivering some of the most crass banter I've ever heard. - gotta give it up to Dylan for playing one of his first "greatest hits" sets in the last decade. A lot of people I talked to had no idea how rare that was. I knew we were in for a treat when he opened with RDW12/35 but then the hits just kept comin'! "Highway 61" and "Desolation Row" were real treats but "Ballad of a Thin Man" had my jaw on the floor. What a set! - everyone was SO nice and SO into it. Made new friends every ten minute it seemed, each more excited to be there than the last. - GA was nowhere NEAR as far as I thought. Spent half my time in the pit and half in GA with friends, and for some acts, like Roger Waters, I thought GA was actually a better spot than up close. You could really take it all in. Having said that, the pit was MASSIVE and getting to see the legends from only a few dozen feet away was unbelievable. Thank you StubHub! - the shuttles. Singin, dancin', drinkin' -- the geezers on the bus know how to get down! After we figured the shuttles ran waaaay later than advertised, my group chilled out an hour after each night and rode home practically in private. - some of the most lax festival security I've ever had the fortune to take advantage of
Literally the only con: - the most crazy expensive event of all-time. $15 beers. Thankfully, after day one, that was no longer a problem. (See my last pro)
Give me a half-decent lineup next year and I am soooo back. Prediction: Bruce, Petty, Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, Billy Joel and Elton John.

I could not agree more with this post. What an amazing weekend of awesomeness. I spent most of my time in the pit but did venture back to GA and it was still so amazing. If anyone has a chance to do this weekend please do not pass it up. I can not say enough good things about this fest.
