It'll be similar to the setup for Stagecoach, if you buy the $400 GA tickets you'll be about 100 yards from the stage if you're in the front. It'd be equivalent to standing about 50 yards behind the soundboard if you've been to Coachella. I really don't think it's worth $400 to watch the show on a screen from so far back. I'll pass on this.

How about the people in GA dead center getting their view blocked by the audio/visual tent. They best have screens set up behind that and behind those bleachers or GA is a sham.
Goodluck to any of you brave souls looking to make the desert tripppp
$1,699 for the pit!?!? Obviously these prices (all tickets not just pit) will limit it to the true diehards but holy shit. I could never in a million years spend that money just on a ticket itself before travel.

Obviously this will have enough interest that it doesn't matter how much they screw attendees, but that's fucking insane. If you're not "riding the Ga rail" you'll be 150+ yards away from every act... Jeebus.

Well, those tickets are for the Chris Christie's of the world, not you.
I'm guessing the sides are the "grandstand" & then the three levels of floor seats are the shaded areas as you move back. Kinda torn now... I mean, $400 is a lot for lawn seats, but you're also seeing 6 legends in 3 days. Even if from the lawn.. I spent $200 for lower bowl for just Paul, so I feel like it isn't really that bad.... It's just whether or not I can afford that.
Edit: payment plan is an idea.. I didn't think about that or streaming. Hm. Between this and ACL tickets going on sale this week and hoping for Coach payment plan, I just don't have the money to fuel my addiction anymore. I gotta think about what is getting priority here.

I mean that in reference to any of the tickets. To pay $450ish for GA, then $400 for travel (obviously everyone is different) plus $100 to camp. That's a $1k before anything and that's all to be 100+ yards with likely obstructed views!? Come on now, even the Chris Christies of the world would secretly admit that's craziness.

Oh, when you started your comment with "$1,699 for the pit???!!!" I assumed you meant those tickets.
I was considering this before I saw what the GA ticket view would be. If I had $3k laying around for the pit ticket and travel that would be amazing.

Haha that shit is basically rigged. They have dudes with big money putting hundreds if not thousands of entries that swipe most of the winning entries. You can't win over the long haul on there. You'd have to hit big and get out.
