Bummed to say that I'm no longer able to attend and need to sell my ticket, thursday pre party add on and car camping add on. Asking $300 if anyone's interested
That sucks. Was looking forward to that as a kick start to one of the nights. Was a cause given?
He has stomach cancer.
Damn. Hope he can pull through. Sharon Jones would be a sweet replacement. I noticed she cancelled her recent White House performance due to pneumonia.
Hoping for a daily lineup at least sometime this week...
Still on the fence about getting a day pass for Saturday since it's the only night I can make it. GF wants to do Voodoo for Tool, but I'm hoping MMJ plays Saturday at Hulaween so I can convince her to visit Suwannee for her first time instead. Time is running out and we haven't solidified plans yet. If Hula keeps delaying, I'm going to have to cave to something else instead.
MMJ on Friday not Saturday, kinda a bummer, but 3 sets of Cheese, the Revs, Snarky Puppy, Lettuce, Tribe, Antibalas, and Marvel Years sounds like a good day of music for $105 to me. Decision time.
Great Schedule. I'm bored and not going, but if I was:
Friday Post Pluto (does originals, covers Phish, cool Pensacola Band) Groove Orient Russo, Benevento & Burbridge Karl Denson's Tiny Universe (Watch guitarist DJ Williams of DJ Williams Projekt) Future Rock String Cheese Umphrey's Cheese The Fritz My Morning Jacket Quixotic Bed
Saturday Nothing til 4:30 Manic Focus (live band) split with Snarky Puppy String Cheese Incident Lettuce Cheese Cheese STS9 Disclosure DJ Set Bed
Sunday Motet Cheese Rebelution Cheese Claypool/Lennon Big Gigantic live with the Motet
Those are some great days. Tell those stupid fuckers to make it the week before or after Halloween next year.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Weekend after because Voodoo will be that weekend before already, and 7.25 hours is too far to drive to split them. I'd totally go almost any other weekend of the year. It's not going to happen, but it's just my wishful thinking.
edit: Oh shit. I meant the week before or after Voodoo. Hahaha.
Yeah, I figure as long as they are getting the numbers, while being on the same weekend as Voodoo, they would not change their plan. Although, it would be nice to be able to do Voodoo and Hula. I think the Wolf follows this thread, so consider message sent.
Speaking of numbers, I thought I read somewhere, if they hit the cap(20K or 25K?), there will be NO days passes? Hope that is not the case for some, but in the same breath, for me overcrowding was a problem last year and glad to see them addressing that issue.
So is "The Patch" a new stage?...map?...very surprised STS9 is there.
last year I wasn't too concerned with late night. this year is going to require more clock management because the late night is loaded...the sched works out well for me other than Snarky Puppy being during the UGA vs UF game(but nothing will be on the line so..), and Passafire being noon(which will feel like 6:00am) on Sunday.

I bought 2 tickets and a car pass at Tier 2 price. (total after fees was $478) I can't go and just trying to recoup the money I spent. Selling as a package only. They're e-tickets. Accepting payment through paypal. PM me if you're interested
Per a post on PT, the Patch stage is in Horse Camping, not far from main stage.
If in field of main stage, like at the sound board, the Patch Stage should be over on your left, tuck back up in there. I am excited for this new stage. Excited to see how they tie it in with spirit lake.

Checking out the schedule now. Hope I make it in and get set up in time for Marco Benevento or at least Con Brio on Thursday. Seems kinda odd they're ending with bluegrass every night but Sunday, but I'll check it out and see what the Silent Discos are about also. I'll start Friday out at Russo, Benevento, & Burbridge. I wish they would announce a replacement for Charles Bradley or at least take his name down from the schedule. That was going to be great. Walking into the What field following Cymande into Charles' set was a beautiful moment this past Roo. I probably would have caught Boys Noize but I'm not missing Anderson .Paak. Same with Claude Vonstroke. I'd see him again but he is up against MMJ. Antibalas is going to be a crunk way to start Saturday and Snarky Puppy right after is perfect for me. Will probably dip out on the first SCI set that day for Washed Out. Lettuce vs. RÜFÜS DU SOL sucks. I'll just have to decide that one in the moment. Bob Moses late night between the two SCI sets will be fun. Then I'll have a problem. I'm not into the new version of STS9 or Logic and that's about it for options after Cheese ends. I'll just wonder around or check out this Corbitt Clampett Experience at Campground Stage. Revivalist always put on a good show, but hard to imagine I'll skip Disclosure's DJ set for them, unless I just really feel like seeing a live band rock out. Then there is Sunday. Guess I'll be seeing Oh Wonder after all. Excited to see Claypool Lennon again. Riding out the storm at camp caused me to lose the pace I was keeping for it at Roo.
What are you guys seeing? Any recommendations on acts to check out?
