Mojo, am I really having to tell you to always bring your wood to SOSMP?
They bring it around, so it's only if you prefer your wood to others.
That cart does not carry enough wood to adequately fill our hole. In the past we had a wood guy, then he met a girl and moved to Asheville. They make an awesome couple. This year we have had to ask for SCC participates to bring their share of wood. Then I found a good deal on a local cord. That should be enough for the weekend. We like fire.

Third year attending Hula, can't wait to be relaxing at the best camping festival venue I have been a part of! Would love to meet any inforoo members who are attending. Keep an eye out for a really great l.e.d. Cheshire cat sign/light up l.e.d cat that one of us may have spent entirely way too much time making and come say hello! We are all looking forward to this fest and the magic that is Spirit Lake.

I thought we were making 'wood' jokes, but it sounds like your fire pit is a little more substantial than ours.
Happy Hula week! Had some phantastic Phish sat night to start me off.

So I saw this fool at the Mac Sabbath show last night wearing a shirt from the tour. I told him I had talked to a friend (Jabco) who said Saturday was pretty damn good (think he was on the 3 night run). We were discussing they covered No Quarter and Sneaking Sally Through the Alley, and he just freaking kissed me upside the head with a wet drunk kiss (was still probably fd up from his Phish shows). I didn't even know the guy. But he was there with his girlfriend all beaming and happy that someone at a "metal" show would know enough to discuss. Maybe he was Trump-odal? WTF!?!?!?! Phreaks.

Another great Hula. SCC had an unforgettable experience. It was nice to see new Inforoo faces at SOSMP, I would like to hear your take on it and when shall we expect to see you back again. lol. A new stage was added this year. The Patch stage has great intentions. STS9 set the bar with an amazing set, but the viewing angle from where we were, was up hill, and to be nice, it sucked. I do like this stage and look forward to adjustments and seeing more shows here in the future. It opens up the fest and brings it closer to the back Lot folks. I also like Spirit Lake Trail and see great potential there. MMJ killed it, enough said!! Stringier Things was a great set and made for a fun dance party. I felt 12. There was no Thriller, but Sunday Big Gigantic did Thriller and then some. Revivalist doing NIN Quack like an Animal, had me air humping Sugar. Fun times indeed. Claypool and Lennon were weird, although I was not, it was still so very good. There were many other great shows. Charles Bradley and Too many Zooz did not make it, which was 50% of who I "wanted" to see. Spirit Lake was bigger than ever. It is an honor to be a part of it. I can not write enough about SL and will only say, Holograms!!! on the Lake.
I'd have to say jacket the revivalists and the claypool Lennon delirium were my 3 favorite sets of the weekend..the spirit lake stage was pretty sweet and that whole thing where the lake and canpground stages were was really impressive at night. Had a great time and would go back if the lineup always included jacket. Might try to do voodoo next year but this one is deff a possibility of going back to again

I thought the John Stickley Trio set really stood out. MMJ was great, the three sets of Cheese I saw were all unique and fun. I thought the Revivalists set was fantastic too, that Spirit Lake stage had good sets all weekend.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Also I'd have no issue with them bringing back STS9 and Lettuce yet again. I also think Flying Lotus would be great for a late night amphitheater set, although I have no clue if he will be active in October.
SO who do you guys think will play this year? I'm hoping STS9 is back and maybe Tame Impala?
Portugal the Man I would love some Tame Impala. M83 or Ghostland Observatory, I think either would be great, if anything GLO will bring the lasers Gary Clark Jr or Sturgil Simpson would make oh so very, very happy.
