Camping for M83 isn't your idea of a good time, so you're going camp for M83 at Lolla?
I'm camping for Radiohead. I just meant in general, M83 will be packed and showing up like 10-15 min beforehand at that which stage with sound bleed instead of showing up like an hour before that set(during good sets) isn't my idea of a good time. Just my opinion, not trying to change his.
I'm just going by what I've had success with at other festivals since I've never been to bonnaroo. At firefly (closest fest I've been to bonnaroo) showing 10-15 minutes before any show besides headliners got me a spot that I was comfortable with. That being said I'm not someone who has to be super close to have a good time.

You will be fine showing up 15 mins early for M83. They're starting during the J Cole set and going against Tyler which is two of the three biggest hip hop acts of the festival.
I really wish they would move everything on the Which on Sunday back 15-30 minutes and give the extra time to Ween. Is that just too obvious?
I'll be shocked if Ween doesn't play more than 75 min, as in 90 min or more. Too many hits to condense that in 75 min. With them being the last act on Which, this set should be longer if they want it to be.

Yeah but I personally hate the idea of missing the set 1 dead & co opener.
Ween is a top 5 band for me. I still don't know what I'm going to do.
Can it be explained to me why Oh Wonder, a synth pop band with one album that plays under an hour, need a 75 min slot, while Dungen. a psychedelic band with 8 albums, get 45 mins?

I just wish they would tweak this schedule. 75 min wait between these sets in the tent is so silly. Vince could've easily played early in day like Danny Brown did in 2014, so that way Tyler could play right before J. Cole, instead of during. Two rappers should never play at the same time. Everytime I want to give the schedule the benefit of the doubt, I can't.

Wonder how they are going to fill up that time slot. I'm a fan so I'll be there.

I think it's crazier that Oh Wonder is playing at that time slot. Early afternoon was the clear winner IMO.

I like them too, just seems like there are bands more deserving of a longer set. I'll probably be at Nathaniel Rateliff though.

Their live shows are pretty acclaimed. That might have something to do with it. Not saying it's right, just a thought.
Edit- but the same thing happened with Bahamas last year (although they have a bigger discography). They ended 15 minutes early, perhaps Oh Wonder will do the same.
Can anyone zoom in on the schedule slider image on the Bonnaroo home page? It lists the Kalliope and appear to have times and names listed. I can't do it on mobile. Thanks!
Holy shit, good find.
This one's better than the one posted above:

Someone on reddit tipped this, the website shows Lane 8 playing at 2am on Saturday, which matches the Kalliope schedule above.

i think this is just because Lane 8 is playing the silent disco from 2-4am LN Friday, which is technically Saturday.
if you look at tame impala's artist page, they are listed as Saturday, June 11 at 1:00am, which again is LN Friday but technically Saturday.
I love analysis like this. If you read the methodology before the stats they are open about the shortcomings of the analysis, but still the scores provide some interesting observations.
Quoting from the above:
What Stands Out? We wanted to mention to a few of the interesting/unexpected things we noticed as of the time of writing:
Dead & Company (Z = 0.82) seems to be generating less interest than Death Cab for Cutie (Z = 0.96), despite being the ostensible "headliners" and being the only show scheduled on Sunday night.
The most unusually crowded show at any of the five main stages (What Stage, Which Stage, This Tent, That Tent, and The Other Tent) is Third Eye Blind (Z = 2.96) at The Other Tent.
The most unusually crowded show at any location is Flux Capacitor (Z = 4.32) at Who Stage. It has more attendees than at least one show at What Stage (Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires). The extremely high Z-score should be taken with a grain of salt since show attendance at Who Stage do not follow a normal distribution, but this show is definitely an outlier.
The most unusually empty show is Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires (Z = -1.65) at What Stage.
Lots of people seem unusually interested in Seth Rogen's animated feature "Sausage Party" (Z = 3.37) at the Cinema Tent and the 90's Rave (Z = 4.20) at Snake & Jake's Christmas Club Barn. I guess 90s kids are all grown up and coming to Bonnaroo in full force.
Wow those stats are really cool. Wonder how representative schedule adds are to crowdedness. I know I haven't added anything to my schedule on the bonnaroo app.

Get your shit together danbob. Clearly you're ruining it for everyone.

Looked back over this just now. One thing I noticed is that Lizzo, one of the least scheduled shows of Thursday, is actually sandwiched in between two of the more scheduled shows of the day (Hermitude/Cash Cat). I feel like that might result in a slightly larger crowd than anticipated at Lizzo. Specifically, people that want to see both Hermitude and Cashmere Cat, who don't really have a preference of shows in between. That, or everyone is going to leave That Tent, go overpopulate BORNS at This, and then come back to That Tent.

This is my first Roo. The only part of the schedule I don't like is The Dead & Co at the same time as the Bluegrass Jam. The Dead has such deep roots in Bluegrass I would think they are targeting the same audience on this one.
Updated my clashfinder. Nothing changed on the main stages, but Aubrie Sellers and Luke Bell switched days/times, and there were some changes to the comedy schedule as well. Also added the solar stage.

It definitely sucks, but I think it was inevitable with Dead & Co. playing two sets. The bluegrass situation jam always closes out a tent on Sunday, and Dead & Co. couldn't really start later than 8 with them taking a 4 hour slot.
