It's official the Cinema Tent is dead.... I quacking knew it. It's not on the site, it's not on the schedule and its was the one thing truly expendable for those quacking bathrooms. -_-
They didn't announce Cinema stuff until after the initial schedule last year. It'll definitely still be there.
. I expect the Cinema Tent to be much more crowded this year than last with the schedule being what it is.

I really want to get to the rail on Friday for Ibeyi -> Kamasi -> Vince -> Tyler The Creator.... but I'm afraid standing there for 6 hours is going to make me too tired to fully enjoy LCD and Tame Impala.
I'll probably just end up watching J Cole and going for the LCD pit.
I have the same issue. Footage I've seen of The Internet makes me think The Internet aren't that great live, whereas I'm sure Stapleton will be great. Leaning towards playing it safe on this one, though for all I know The Internet might kill it.

2019 Shows: 4/30 - Vampire Weekend 6/28 - Father John Misty & Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit 9/6 - Cardi B w/ Teyana Taylor 9/28 - Vulfpeck w/ The Fearless Flyers
I have this same conflict but I really wanna hear The Internet's new stufff live I saw them a Coachella in 2014 but then again Chris Stapleton's voice is gold even though he stole from Etta James (I'll never let it go, lol).
This is just about the best schedule Bonnaroo has ever dropped, for my tastes. One of the worst conflicts I have is Vulfpeck vs Twin Peaks, and I've wanted to see Vulfpeck for a while so that's not an issue. The M83 into LCD Soundsystem into Tame Impala also is looking epic for me. After that, I might not have much energy for any late-late night shows. ...
I'm just floored by how bad this is. The days actually line up pretty well, for the most part, but there's really not that much music here. Why on earth do they need between 45 minutes to an hour between acts on each stage? Is it really going to take them an hour to break down Kamasi Washington's stuff and get ready for Vince Staples? If you don't want to pay for more bands, why not just have some of these acts play a little longer?
Kamasi will absolutely take that long to break down. other acts not so much but definitely him.

I would think Kamasi's breakdown would be shorter than most since it's a lot ofhorns.
Just noticed there's 45 minutes between most of the bands on Thursday....and entire hour between Bully and Twin Peaks....the sound at these stages better be good with all that in between time.
The only thing good that could come out of this is a tad more leeway with bands going over their set time and still being able to stay on schedule
I'm all for that, no band should be getting cut off at Bonnaroo
As far as set times... Jeebus. when did Bonnaroo become Lolla? it sucks seeing pretty much everyone except headliners getting an hour, hour fifteen. At the risk of sounding too "get off my lawn"-y, one of the key selling points when I first started going was that 1.5-2hrs was standard for a daytime show, so most acts could do their full set. What makes this suck even more is that if they hadn't cut about 2-3 hours off the start of the day, plus another hour or so from the end of late nights, they could bump up a few of the more prominent acts' set lengths.
The biggest problem with Lolla is the soundbleed between stages. If it had acts do their full set we'd get less acts, or it'd be a massive clusterfuck of sound (even more than it already is).
Is there anything comparable at Roo? If not see no reason why we can't have shorter down times.
Thursday: Con Brio -> Waxahatchee -> Bully or Hundred Waters (depending on how much I enjoy HW's set at Moog) -> WET -> Marian Hill -> Cash Cat
Friday: Dungen -> Allen Stone -> Daughter -> FIDLAR or Kamasi, contingent upon my mood that day -> CHVRCHES -> Vince Staples -> Leon Bridges -> head over to What to snag pit for LCD -> potentially part of Purity Ring if LCD actually does end at 12:30 (the idea of which makes me really sad) -> Tame Impala (my thought is that if I leave Purity Ring 10-15 minutes early, and thus beat the huuuuuge rush of people coming over to Which from Chainsmokers at 1:30, I'll be able to get a decent spot for Tame)
Saturday: Grace Potter or Anderson East, idk -> Natalie Prass -> Two Door Cinema Club or Band of Horses of Steve Gunn, will gauge what I'm in the mood for at that time -> Oh Wonder -> maybe just the first half of Claypool/Lennon and then second half of Ellie, but Which is going to be a nightmare for her set, so idk -> Pearl Jam -> Miguel or RL Grime (honestly I'd rather see RL because I caught a Miguel set this past fall, but the crowd at the former will likely be so shitty, that might be enough to sway me over to Miguel instead) -> Big Boi
Sunday: Charles Bradley -> Jason Isbell -> either staying at What to get pit for Death Cab or going to part of FJM first, then onto DCFC -> Lord Huron -> some of the Bluegrass Situation Superjam - > Dead and Co
Sunday is by far the lightest for me. Overall, I am quite pleased with this schedule - no, it does not magically render the lineup super impressive, but it also fucks up very little for me. I'm most bummed about: -Missing M83, but I knew that was likely going to happen -Conflict between PR, Bob, and Tame, but I think I can make it work to see most of PR and most of Tame - and I'll see Bob at Moog -The bleakness of Saturday LN -Only 90 mins for LCD (they better play longer than that)

Does anyone know how long LCD Soundsystem played at Coachella? All I can find is that it started at 11:10pm. I'm trying to get an idea of their setlist by comparing it to Coachella's.
I'm really happy with Tyler's set time. With J.Cole, M83, and Flosstradomus going on at the same time it's going to be just the right amount of people there. It's going to be one of those "everyone that was there, truly wanted to be there" scenarios. I even have 30 minutes to get to LCD Soundsystem and pass by M83. BONNAROO PLEASE DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING
Does going up the left side work at the Which Stage? I can't leave LCD until they play "All My Friends" and thirty minutes is just enough time to maybe get a decent spot for Tame Impala....maybe
They've been saving All My Friends for their encores for all the shows they've been playing.

It'd just feel wrong to leave during or before that epic encore...but I don't wanna sacrifice my Tame Impala experience. This wouldn't be a problem if the Which Stage didn't have terrible sound and layout.
The skeptic in me wants to ask does Bonnaroo schedule LCD for 90mins and Pearl Jam for 2 hours even though they probably expect both to go over, so that everyone can rave about how headliners can go over their set times
Better than when they scheduled The Police for 3 hours and they barely played 90 minutes!

Come on dude, don't leave LCD early. Tame is playing for 2 hours.

I still don't understand how they can leave Which Stage dark on Saturday night, it makes everything overcrowded.
Thinking on the schedule a little more, this is pretty much my only potential issue. Centeroo is always crowded at night, even when there is an act on Which, so it's could be Thursday-level crowded this year on Saturday night. Egad.
