Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Shows from 12-2pm actually got me out of my camp and into Centeroo to buy food and sit around in the shade for a little bit before going back to camp to get ready/start drinking. Now that they start later, I usually just eat at camp and don't stroll into Centeroo til 4 or so. I feel like Bonnaroo is missing out on revenue stream here. How much effort does it take to plop one of these cafe acts on a big stage to open? Just because I'm not standing dead center in the field doesn't mean I'm not listening to it.
I agree. This year is a budget year for me. Despite my not wanting to, I think I will bring my breakfast and lunch this year. If there was noon music, I would only bring breakfast.
And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts
Thursday 1200-0100 Hundred Waters 0100-0200 Mija (??) She's playing June 12th at Mysteryland (her website has the 10th as a placeholder), same a Griz. 0200-0300 Griz (??) 0300-0400 Cashmere Cat 0400-0500
Friday 1200-0100 Keys N Krates 0200-0500 Red Bull
Saturday 1200-0100 0100-0200 Quickie Mart 0200-0300 Lane 8 0300-0400 0400-0500
Those are all I could make out.
If that holds true, Lane 8 is a godsend for Saturday LN
Gonna be my first Kalliope show if thats the case!
I would love to see Hundred Waters at Kalliope but that runs into the start of Cash Cat's main set...I'll try to make it to the first half of it though for sure.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

Thursday Kalliope is gonna be FIRE. Looks like I need to find additional substances to keep me up. Griz into Cashmere Cat is gonna be insane.
Oh shit! GRiZ at Kalliope, now that will keep me there for more than ten minutes! Hell yeah.

I'm wondering since LN ends at 3 on Friday and Sat, and music starts at 2 Fri-Sun. Kaillope must have something going on. I'm curious if maybe this year, they put a surprise rap show on there, instead of just having rando DJ sets or EDM sets. Rap LN is fun, and Tyler on Kaillope at like 4am after Tame just melted our faces would be awesome. I hope they utilize Kaillope better this year. *Especially with their anniversary.

At the very least, hopefully this means we are getting a real kalliope schedule this year. I'm sure they like the surprises, but I know I would prefer to know when a Lane 8 or Hundred Waters were playing.
Can they fit more than a DJ booth on the Kallopie? What would a Hundred Waters set be like on that stage? I've literally never walked up to that stage....I can hear it from across the farm but I've never gone up to it.
Can anyone zoom in on the schedule slider image on the Bonnaroo home page? It lists the Kalliope and appear to have times and names listed. I can't do it on mobile. Thanks!
Holy shit, good find.
This one's better than the one posted above:

If that Thursday schedule is real, I'd actually stay there all night/morning.
I guess my biggest problem with the schedule is that I have to head to The Other Tent for Purity Ring after LCD Soundsystem and if LCD Soundsystem somehow goes past 12:30 then I'll be missing quite a bit of Purity Ring... especially since its the farthest tent from the main stage... Also missing Tame Impala for Purity Ring > Bob Moses isn't too terrible since I've seen Tame Impala 3 or 4 times now..
Upcoming gigs -------------- 6/28 - Dave Matthews Band - Moline 6/29 - Dave Matthews Band - Kansas City 7/8 - Duran Duran - Chicago 7/9 - Summerfest - Milwaukee 7/10 - Sting/Peter Gabriel - Milwaukee 7/27 - Diana Ross - Chicago 7/28-29 - Lollapalooza - Chicago 7/28 - Bob Moses - Chicago 7/29 - The Joy Formidable - Chicago 8/21 - Wilco - Chicago 9/6 - Kraftwerk 3-D - Atlanta 9/7 - Kraftwerk 3-D - Memphis 9/10-11 - LouFest - St. Louis

RBMC had Mannie Fresh one year, so maybe Saturday night we'll see something like that.

Hundred Waters has done DJ sets before, especially when they were newer and still local to the Gainesville/Florida scene. Hell, Purity Ring has done DJ sets before. DJ sets are all the rage. I saw a Tom Morello DJ set at Okeechobee.

I just became aware that the schedule is out. (Busy week).
What follows is my thoughts as I go through each day.
Thursday
Nothing in the first block... Waxahatchee into Bully, excellent... Vulfpeck, good... Who's Marian Hill? Do I want to see them so I can do Vulfpeck into Marian Hill into GoldLink, or do I want to give Lizzo some love?... Wait none of the stuff I want to see conflicts!
Friday
I should try to find something in the first block to see... Daughter is a fine way to start the day otherwise... AUGH Why do Fidlar and Kamasi overlap?... At least I'll see most of CHVRCHES... Thank god Vince Staples has no conflicts I care about. Halsey is gonna make that show's attendance tolerable... Well, I guess I'll see Leon Bridges... M83 closing Which into LCD on What is a delicate line to walk. How good a spot do I want for LCD?... Goddamn it why are Tame Impala and Blood Orange playing simultaneously?
Saturday
Natalie Prass is the perfect way to start a day... What on earth do I see after Natalie Prass?... Haim and Oh Wonder at the same time is kind of rude... Thank you Bonnaroo for scheduling Lennon/Claypool at the same time as a bunch of crap... Fuck you Bonnaroo for scheduling Miguel during the Superjam... Boy this feels light.
Sunday
Cymande and The Wood Brothers are the only Sunday acts I previously highlighted. Help... X Ambassadors at The Other is going to be a shitshow... I guess I'll see Lord Huron... This feels even lighter than Saturday.

I'm sure this has been discussed, but the most alarming thing to me is that the music starts at 2PM on Friday and Saturday. Are they going to add a few bands to that part of the schedule, cause if not, this is a pretty drastic scheduling shift. I guess they could certainly add someone on the Which late night if they felt like they needed to, but I wonder if they're letting Pearl Jam play as long as they want without opposition from the which.

And putting Cymande in the which sun is brutal.
I think they started the sets later last year as well, so this is probably gonna be par for the course from now on. I'd like to see them move something to the Which on Saturday night too; Friday night has 7 LN acts if you include Bryson Tiller, and Saturday only has 5. Granted, I'll most likely be at the Superjam regardless so I don't really need another potential conflict.
Anyone think they'll let the Superjam go unannounced this year?
This so much. They would be much better in a tent. Which stage in the afternoon is awful.
Yeah, I melted through Songhoy Blues' opening set at Which one day last year. It was still fun and super empty. At least I had room to dance around the whole pit area.

If they don't want to pay more bands, why not have smaller bands play more than once? I'm sure those cafe acts wouldn't mind playing a tent earlier in the day. Just make it like a mini-Thursday. Throw the smaller bands that aren't on a crazy touring schedule at 11-2pm in the tents. I'm sure they'd appreciate the exposure. If Summer Camp, Floyd Fest, etc. can do this, why can't roo? The Sonic stage was a good opportunity to see bands we couldn't fit into our original schedules. C'mon bonnaroo.

Agreed. Unless it has something to do with staffing the stage & soundbooth, or interfering with sound checks. I can't imagine that being a big deal, though.

Sorry friend, but this is new, though there was one day last year when they didn't start the main stages until 1:15. It makes me wonder if they're going to add anyone up top.
