Surprised this thread hasn't been started...less than a month away. Here is what Accuweather has as of 5/12.
Fingers crossed for good weather on Sunday, as I will be at Which the whole time until The Dead. Not looking good in the way too early forecast though.
So 4 straight years of good weather, is that more or less reason to worry?
That's my concern too; I've only known the past four years so I feel like I'm not really prepared for a rainy Roo, but I know it's gonna happen eventually.

Yeah 2012 was my first year as well. I can't believe I've gone 4 years and never really seen it rain. There is a part of me that would like to experience it, but then I snap back into reality and get that out of my head.
How accurate can predictions even be this far out?
Pinpoint forecasts like these? At 30 days out, it's a total crapshoot. You're probably better off forecasting based on climatology (long-term averages). Unless the models pick up on a stable pattern that is expected to persist for several days, specific forecasts for temperature and precipitation beyond 5-7 days should be largely ignored. I get that some people are intrigued by a 30-day forecast, but it doesn't add anything of value. The National Weather Service does issue climatic outlooks (6-10 day, 8-14 day, 30-day, and 90-day), but these products only show the likelihood of above/below average temperature and precipitation during the specified period. And even these predictions don't have the greatest track record.
Also, I should note that AccuWeather isn't taken seriously in the meteorology community. Nor should they be. AccuWeather has donated to politicians in hope of pressuring Congress to eliminate/privatize the National Weather Service.
It has been very rainy as of late. Voodoo had rain, Buku had rain, Jazzfest had rain, I hope this trend doesn't continue to other festivals outside of New Orleans.

Jesus. The only time I am ever interested in the weather forecast is if I am going to an event or if heavy snow is coming my way (which is only 3 or 4 times a year)...didn't think about political implications.
I really wish the weather at Bonnaroo would be like it is in Memphis today. Mild and sunny. I sat in my back yard all day watching the hummingbirds eat from my feeder. And the neighborhood bunny came to visit.

Bunnies!!! Ya gotta love bunnies...next best thing to unicorns.
