Launchpad McQuack are single days going to be happening again? i prob won't be able to afford all three days after coach but there are quite few acts on here id love to see (bino, wu tang, Ronson vs Parker) that i would probably spend a single day ticket on if they ended up being the same day.
Yeah theyll most likely do single days. Unless 3 days sell abnormally well and theres no need, those should go up around March/April.
Thinking they did a great job with this lineup....less focus on the top and more spread out talent...thinking Panorama goes big the headliners and a lower tier undercard but well see
I really enjoy this lineup, I wish I could make it. But how the hell is Logic above Schoolboy Q and Rae Sremmurd? I feel like him and Rae Sremmurd should just switch spots.
Tool vs. Lorde Phoenix vs. Childish Gambino Chance the Rapper vs. Flume
Those would be very, very tough conflicts....if I hadn't seen Lorde, Gambino and Flume already.
OK Tool v Lorde would still be tough in the moment, but I feel like Tool is one of those acts you see purely for the sake of it, and they're a rare get to begin with nowadays.

Easy: Logic co-headlined an amphitheater tour last year.

I mean I guess. But he co-headlined with G-Eazy who is considerably bigger than him though, and when it comes down to it I'd be willing to bet that people would probably recognize Rae Sremmurd and ScHoolboy Q before him. I'm not saying he's not popular, I just don't really feel like he's that caliber. Who knows though, maybe I'm just out of touch.

Both Logic and G-Eazy are big among high-schoolers whose racist parents won't allow them to listen to Drake.

That's one fuego take there. A correct one, but a fuego one all the same.
Roosevelt is another act small on the lineup I am really digging.
Yup, I saw him this summer and his live show was a blast. His album was really solid as well. Colours, Hold On, Fever, and Night Moves were all some of my favorite tracks of the year. Love that bright, airy disco pop sound.
To each their own, but this lineup would be unequivocally better if they replaced Wiz or Logic with just about anything else that costs the same $
Haha I couldn't agree more. Marshmello as well.
Guaranteed that all of those acts will play at the same time as something else that I at least would rather be watching. I think that Marshmello will be on at the same time as Tool. Go see Tool.

I will say Gov Ball does well with distributing artist for minimal conflicts. The after hours shows can also help alleviate conflicts which puts you in a great position to see most of what you were coming to see.

Nice! and which day would that happen to be again?
Also I had no idea that thomasmars co wrote and sings Playground Love. Since Phoenix is there anyway hopefully we can see him perform it with them. Found this really cool version of it that I never heard before:
When I saw Pond they threw in the Alpha Beta Gaga riff into a jam on their song "Whatever Happened to the Million Head Collide" and I freaked out a bit.
This setlist is money. Even without zombies, redbone I think would work better in a live setting. I'd want to replace California with zombies tho. Otherwise it's a pretty perfect set.

When I saw Phoenix at Lolla 2010 they kicked off their first encore with a "cover" of Playground Love. Seems like they do it semi frequently, but I don't know if they've done it with Air recently.

Every year this lineup appeals to me. I have a lot of family I haven't visited in a few years that live on the Island so this fest makes sense for me this year. I booked a hotel in Harlem but am curious how the logistics work with this fest. I'm not familiar with Randall's Island at all. Does the subway line go there or can you walk there?

Subway goes to 125th and there's either a shuttle bus there or you can walk. You just head east off of the 125th st bridge. It's simple in theory. At night it suuuuuuuuuucks.
