Also booked my round trip flight for only $11.20. Feeling thrifty
you what when?!
Basically before I booked my flight my dad called me and told me to check if we had points on Delta (I normally fly Southwest) from when I was little. Turns out we had a lot of points. Saved me a ton of money! Maybe now I can afford another fest this year...

Not bad not bad! Good stuff !
Here I was all pleased with myself for getting a $230 one-way to New York.. Christ..
Not sure if this would be the right message board for this but I have two extra tickets to the Ryan Adams Beacon Theater show if anyone is looking. Face value or willing to trade for other local NYC shows

I'd be a happy human if we were lucky enough to go Danny Brown > ScHoolboy Q > Chance on the main. But that's unlikely since they'll want folks moving around, right?

Lorde and Chance are way too popular and hot and have too many crossover fans to allow them to go head-to-head or not play on the main stage. For main stage i'd be shocked if it's not one of looking at:
Not a lot of options for the 4:45 Main Stage slot, Bleachers does make a lot of sense. Flume and Beach House will likely want night time slots for their lights (Flume) and mysterious ambience (Beach House). Schoolboy could be an option for the 4:45 slot, but I could see them putting him against Lorde on the Honda Stage at 6:45 or on the last Big Apple slot at 8:00 in an attempt to dissuade rap fans from camping Main Stage all-day for Chance. Tove Lo could be even more of a problem, as many of the poppies at Main Stage will likely wait out the 5:45 set to save their spots for Lorde. They like to keep fairly big artists on that main stage by mid-day, so that likely disqualifies Danny Brown and Charles Bradley.
At least with Bleachers on the Main Stage at 4:45, you could put Tove Lo at 5:45 to get some movement going before the poppies return back to Main Stage for Lorde.

I think people are overestimating "movement between stages"
Last year it was OMAM->Beck->Strokes and Lord Huron->HAIM->Killers. Six bands you can put in the alt-rock category.
As long as you have Flume up against Chance you'll get plenty of the Lorde crowd headed over there. Friday has enough going on that people will be moving around.

Tool, Avalanches, Air, Phantogram, Mac DeMarco, Royal Blood, Warpaint, Parquet Courts, Skepta, ect is going to make for an incredible day of music. That Sunday might be my favorite Gov Ball single day lineup of all time.
