Finally some beers that don't totally suck? Not the greatest list, but a step in the right direction.
Is that Game of Thrones beer any good?
That one hasn't come out yet - supposed to be released around Memorial Day. The other GoT beers they've done in the past have been pretty good though, although not sure if it's the kind of beer you'd want to be chugging on a hot day.
Sierra Nevada Sidecar and Lagunitas 12th of never are great summer beers though.
Got my plane tickets to NYC for the 31st-5th. Haven't been to this city in like 15 years, when i was like 7 or 8. So stoked to finally explore it on my own. Any must see/eat recommendations? Besides TOOL.

Hit the MoMa and The Whitney, get food from Katz's deli, walk the highline, theres really so many endless options you cant go wrong.

As someone who lives in the city, I also fully endorse the full tourist experience. A lot of it will be more memorable than the more low key local recommendations.

If you have extra time and are a fan of LCD. James Murphys wine bar The Four Horseman is a cool experience.

No activity on social media or emails saying that this is close to selling out and we're now a month out. Is this year selling slower than past years. Maybe Tool isn't the blockbuster booking that people thought.

Last year they didnt sell out on single day Sun tix for Kanye till May 13th. Then 3 day tickets sold out two weeks later. Its May 2nd.

I remember in the AMA last year, the promoters said that Tool was available for the 2016 fest but "didn't fit the demo". Not sure what changed in a year but still find them to be an odd booking. I'm totally psyched but I feel like their fans have more than gotten their fix in the past decade or so. With no new material, I'm not sure how many of their big fans want to wade through Randalls Island to see them without any similar acts that appeal to them. That's not a critique of the lineup as there are several acts I'm psyched to see on Sun but just based on my general perception and knowledge of Tool fans.
