Tool's entire NA tour is sold-out. After Stubhub fees its cheaper to see them at Gov Ball on a single-day pass than at one of their headline shows.
You can see them for $30+ in a number of California shows and $50 in Maine.
Bizarre...besides the Maine show every other show in the Eastern US is going way above face. The local show to me (Rochester) is $120+. Why would the California shows be so inexpensive? Also, it is strange that they're playing the B-level arenas in most cities.

Got my wristband yesterday. Really like the packaging, stickers and the pin. So damn excited for this. Trying to not ruin or have other people accidentally ruin surprises of sets at Boston Calling for artists playing this (Chance, Danny Brown, Mac Demarco) the following weekend.

Chance/Lorde/Flume are more of a draw right now than Phoenix/Gambino/Wu Tang Clan. But both are going to have sold out crowds. So its not an indictment of anything.

Yeah wasnt trying to suggest either were busts, just that daily passes for a Friday in NYC selling out before a Saturday is noteworthy.

Well you have to think about how many daily tickets they sell. Of the 50k, the majority of the passes are probably 3 days.
