Jeez how have they not learned their lesson with the weather. They've already had two years where they had to pretty much axe a day because of storms. Just move it later in the month or at least get it off that fucking island.

See y'all out there! I'm wearing red shorts, a black and white tank, grey hoodie, and my sylvan esso hat. I'll also be rocking an old school pokemon backpack.
Roosevelt > Blossoms > Francis and the Lights > Break > Charli XCX > Tove Lo > Michael Kiwanuka > Nancy Whang > Lorde > Flume? (why couldn't Beach House be here) > Chance

Who all is meeting before Francis with me and Doctor? I'm wearing a blue shirt with misbehaving pandas and red shorts. Also for tomorrow do I see YG or Rae Sremmurd? I've seen YG but seeing FDT in New York would be a lot more fun than seeing it in Missouri
So, I know this isn't really related, but all the people talking about their concerns for who all will show up at Wu show got me wondering. To anybody that saw them at bonnaroo 2013, didn't they have the entire Clan at that show? Were they missing people and I'm just not remembering it?
I believe Raekwon was missing. But it's funny because I didn't even notice it at the time. I was so hyped to finally see them, it didn't even register.
Saw them in '14, no Meth, I don't think a lot of people realized. They had him pre record some "HOUSTON!" etc. shout outs.
Good day today...kiwanuka...beach house and chance all were excellent....the staggered schedules of Flume and Chance made the crowds a mess...with Flume playing without someone on the main stage to take some crowd away it was soooo packed
Kiwanuka and Lorde stole the day for me. What a well run fest, besides getting home from it. First year for me but I can already see myself coming back after this year.
I got there late Bleachers - fun as always. New stuff sounded really good. Let me know when they don't bring it Lorde - she is such a beast Chance - I am not in the demo but the man deserves all the accolades he gets. Real talent. Great show

Yesterday was so great. I had my worries, I had been told that it's not the best run festival, but I don't know that I've been to a better run festival save for maybe Pitchfork. Considering how small the grounds are I never felt it got super crowded, my only beef is how bad the sound on the Honda stage is, and how much bleed from the MainStage there is there, (though it did erase any doubts I had about choosing Phoenix over Gambino.)
Music wise maybe the best day I've ever had at a festival everyone I saw was very good I thought. Lorde and Michael Kiwanuka were definitely my favorites yesterday, though I thoroughly enjoyed Charli XCX (I Don't Care might be the number one moment for the whole fest) and Tove Lo I'll flesh out details in a big top 10 Sunday or Monday, but here's my set rankings yesterday
1)Lorde 2)Michael Kiwanuka 3)Charli XCX 4)Tove Lo 5)Francis and the Lights 6)Chance 7)Roosevelt 8)Kehlani 9)Blossoms
A note on Chance, he should've been higher on this. It was my third time seeing him, and the past two times I loved it, but I was kind of meh about this set. A huge personal pet peeve that makes or breaks any hip hop set for me is whether the artist is actually rapping. I cannot stand when a rapper gets up there and just holds their mic out to the audience, which Chance did A LOT last night. Don't mind the audience rapping a long, but I want to hear someone spit. Not cut in and out. Chance hadn't done that before when I saw him, hopefully that was a one and done kind of deal.

Anybody who went and sees this - how was getting in? Anyone try taking the bus? Heading in early tomorrow and hoping for not too much of a clusterfuck
I went to 125th and took the x80 bus if thats what you mean. Lines were clear. So much easier than dealing with the ferry. They tell you to put 6.50 on your metro to use the bus, but then they dont even swipe the card.
Yesterday was awesome! Danny Brown was one of the craziest shows I've been too. Halfway through I though "who keeps grabbing my shoulder" and I turned around to see Doctor had pushed his way to the front. Overall great day of music. Super pumped for MR vs KP and Gambino tonight

Didnt take the bus at the end of the night.
Took the bus a half hour ago and no real lines. Waiting to get in now
That Ronson/Parker DJ set at Output was alright. Williamsburg reminded me of East 6/7th in Austin a lot. It would've sucked if the tickets weren't only $17 but I feel like I got my money's worth. It was great when they did their collab as well as Tame stuff. The mashup of Black Skinhead and Elephant was killer. I'd see them at the fest if I was going today, even tho it will be half of that set. Looks like tomorrow is clearing up. Everyday has been beautiful.

Word of advice. Get there early if you are waiting for Gambino. I think hes going to have the craziest crowd of the weekend and if Flume was any indication, then getting prime real estate for Honda stage is gonna be a challenge.
