I really need to make decisions about earlier in the day for sat/sun. Anyone have recommendations for the first half of those days? I can get I to most stuff besides DJ/EDM

Saturday: Stormzy Sunday: Mondo Cozmo
Mondo Cozmo were fantastic this Sunday. I left another set I was waiting for while listening to Mondo Cozmo because they sounded so fucking good. Stormzy will be a wild, filthy, intense party of Grime music.

Vant, Ron Gallo, Lo Moon, I love The Range's album but Ill be at Car Seat Headrest, Arizona has a lot of buzz.
I really wonder which Wu Tang members will be in attendance.
As long as it's more Wu-Tang .vs. less Wu-Tang I'll be happy. I'll be watching this from a distance of the stage since I'll be booking it to Childish Gambino after (or during) this set.

It's sort of a homecoming gig for the Clan so I assume that (for once) they will all show up.
I still have fond memories of seeing them a decade ago in Amsterdam. Unfortunately GZA and Method Man were absent, but the atmosphere was insane. Entire Clan and everybody in the venue were smoking a fuck ton of weed (on stage).
Oh, and a few of the Clan members ran onto the balcony and beat up some dude who was allegedly throwing beer cups to the stage. The tour manager got arrested later that night over this.

Has anyone done VIP for this? How was it? Do the areas get super crowded or can I walk in as the band starts and expect to get a good spot (minus the headliners and co-headliners, I feel I'd have to park it for my spot).

I've done VIP for the past 3-4 years and definitely wouldn't go back to GA. Outside of headliners, you can pretty much walk in just as the band starts and get a good spot (and if you're there 10-15 min before, in most cases, you can get right up to the front). Also, last I checked, GA tix on stubhub were going for $279 with VIP for $319. For $40 over 3 days, it's a no-brainer.

I listened to that Arizona album on the way to work today, stoked to see those guys. Saint Motel is my recco for early (ish) on Sat. Barns Courtney, Mondo Cozmo and The Orwells are all worth showing up for early on Sun.
AND, since you're all dying to know, my schedule is (in order of appearance)
FRI
Roosevelt Muna Francis & The Lights (fucking HATE Judah & The Lion, I might add) The Strumbellas (break) Bleachers (much as it pains me to miss Tove Lo, saw her at Hammerstein in Feb) Michael Kiwanuka (will be weird seeing him in an outdoor setting, his new album is so intimate) Lorde (also a bit painful to miss Beach House but seen them play at WH last year and their live show doesn't do much for me)
SAT
Arizona Car Seat Headrest (still don't do much for me but hoping their live show changes my mind) Saint Motel (break) The Head And The Heart Rufus Du Sol (I like Local Natives but, similar to Beach House, not sure it will do much for me outdoors at 5:45 in the afternoon) Wu-Tang clan/food/bathroom Banks Phoenix
SUN
Barns Courtney Mondo Cozmo The Orwells (break) Parquet Courts Warpaint (hoping for a lot off the new record) Royal Blood (sorry Mac Demarco) Franz Ferdinand (another painful conflict) Cage The Elephant/Phantogram (will start at CTE and move to Phantogram) Air Tool

Anyone know if the Gov Ball lockers are inside or outside of the gates? My friend has to bring a backpack cause he's staying somewhere different Friday night than Thursday night, but if they are within the festival gates that obviously will not work. Last weekend Boston Calling had their lockers outside the gates.

They've always been inside the gates. According to the map they are this year as well, but they have been moved.
Sad realization that I'm missing for the first time since 2013.

Not too late to get a Sunday ticket!
I'd check secondary market for Sunday. Stubhub prices aren't that bad and if your willing to take the chance, I got mine on CL for $100 w. Shuttle Pass that I'll hopefully resell.
Also, for those unsure about the Saturday Local Natives / Rufus conflict can check out Natives on the Primavera LIVESTREAM on Redbull TV. Scheduled to start in 15 mins. ** Also scheduled to replay the stream at 6:30EST **
So, I know this isn't really related, but all the people talking about their concerns for who all will show up at Wu show got me wondering. To anybody that saw them at bonnaroo 2013, didn't they have the entire Clan at that show? Were they missing people and I'm just not remembering it?

I believe Raekwon was missing. But it's funny because I didn't even notice it at the time. I was so hyped to finally see them, it didn't even register.
Wu Tang played a show/festival this past weekend in California, and all of the living members were there, so I'd venture a guess they'd all show up in NYC. Hopefully they have some NY guests as well.
